We have dined at Wildfire several times and the food and service has always been of the highest quality. My one bit of advice would be, if you wish to dine there phone ahead and make a reservation early, as the popularity of the restaurant means that it will be very busy and you may be disappointed if you were to turn up hoping for a table.

Myself and my partner had a very special Valentines evening in this quaint restaurant. Although the size is small this makes to create a warm intimate atmosphere ideal for couples. The waitress was lovely and offered exceptional service. The food was amazing could not be faulted. The only critique I would have is the bathroom could do with a bit of TLC other then that the night was perfect.

Have always wanted to try Haggis, I ordered it here as a starter and it was amazing. My partner got the smoked salmon as her starter and we tried each others, so I can tell you that was fantastic too.

Visited this Restaurant February 2022. Living in Edinburgh I had heard good comments regarding Food, Service and Friendliness of this independent eatery. Our experience was excellent and we will be eating here regularly in the future.

The food here is beautiful. There's not an extensive menu, but what they do create is amazing. The pate starter was delicious with the right amount of accompaniments, my surf and turf main had the most wonderful flavours and my steak was perfect! And I could have taken home more of the berry crumble! The restaurant is also intimate and comfortable, whilst also maintaining a classy feel, and the staff are attentive and friendly. I'll come back again!

Fantastic food, great service. Went back for a second visit and still 5 star. Will definitely go back.

I was looking for somewhere that did amazing steaks - as my first choice Miller & Carter was fully booked.Wildfire would now be the first place I choose for dining Edinburgh now!Its a very small restaurant so I'd recommend booking, especially on weekend evenings, but this is by no means a downfall. It feels very cozy, it's warm, the staff are lovely and the food is delicious. My partner is extremely fussy when it comes to his steak being cooked, if you can call it that because its blue! His steak was absolute perfection so it was nice not having to send it back!Fantastic experience and can't wait to make an excuse to go back!

I last visited Wildfire back in 2018 and it’s still excellent. The place looks to have been redecorated and the overall ambience is lovely inside. The food and service were excellent. We started with the Arbroath Smokey followed by a rib eye and the fish pie. All dishes were perfectly cooked, hot and fresh. We finished with the warm chocolate cake and sticky toffee pudding.Everything was excellent and we can’t wait to return next time we’re in Edinburgh.
