Best Sunday roast in town. Massive portion of melt-in-the-mouth beef with fantastic gravy and all the trimmings. A snip at £15.

A great dog friendly pub and restaurant that serves excellent pub food, cocktails and cask ale. Very attentive and friendly staff. My only complaint is that the vegan pie needs rethinking: it is a sweet potato pie, with sweet potato topping (they don't have vegan pastry) and it is served with a side of sweet potato mash!

Decent food with a few nice vegan options, but service was slow and the food wasn't good enough to make up for it. Staff were nice but seemed a little run off their feet.

Popped in for some lunch and cocktails, had the pleasure of being served by three lovely gentlemen (Chris, Carlos and sadly we didn't get the thirds name). They accommodate vegans and vegetarians without the least bit of fuss and had some wonderful cocktails, including the absolutely wonderful weekly cocktail which was the Pepper Bae created by Carlos himself. Will definitely return.

Absolutely lovely staff. Basic but good food (in a really good way) and with a surprisingly vast selection of drinks. Took my friends for the first time and they loved it.

Always such a joy to visit! The staff are really friendly, a couple even recognising the person I visit with and myself when we come in - to the point they asked where I was when he visited without me one time! - which gives the place such a wonderful, welcoming and positive vibe! Sometimes a struggle to find truly great vegan food in town and WCs always knocks it out the park along with the best cocktails. Food and venue are also visually very beautiful aswell. It's often our go-to for date night. Extremely accommodating to my unusual allergies also!

Me and the missus went here after a tip off from a mate and boy where they right. Service was great as staff where really friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food was hot fresh and tasty as hell, have to say that the venison Balmoral burger and there tempura prawns where excellent. Fair prices as well for the big portion size, trust me I feel very well fed fit to burst if I'm honest lol 😂. We will definitely be returning to Woodland Creatures soon.

What a lovely place. Friendly service (shout out to Ben and Caroline), absoltely amazing and clever cocktails and tasty food. Venison sausages, pesto mash and gravy were well seasoned and prepared, the gravy is super rich and strong. Steak cooked to perfection, handcut chips had great crunch. We had tempura prawns as a starter - light batter and perfectly cooked, good portion , and also “mini” baked camembert - delicious but not very small ! From cocktails we definitely recommend Dave went to Japan - strong, sweet and very complex, but they were all amazing. Will be back for sure !
