Woodwinters in Edinburgh

What an amazing shop this is a huge amount of different alcoholic beverages for sale all under one roof. The staff are very knowledgeable on all products for sale. I went in for the craft beers and was just amazed at the selection and the pricing was just right definitely will be back.

We had a fantastic experience at WoodWinters! Chris helped us as we choose our wedding wine, and was so knowledgeable that we bought Whisky too! I would return for the expertise and warm reception!

Disinterested staff who prefer to stay on the phone rather than help their customers. I thanked them profusely and walked out.

This is my local vintner shop and I could not be happier with them. Rob, the manager is extremely knowledgeable and always available to help in a good cheer. Other staff members are great too :) They always have a bottle or two open to let you try so you can see if you like it before you buy it. Their whisky selection is also growing and they stock a respectable variety of gins as well. They cover a wide price range as well so everyone should be able to pick up a bottle of wine which is to their liking and they can actually afford.My view is, you could go to the supermarket and pick up a random bottle you know nothing about, or visit Woodwinters, get expert help and sometimes not even pay more you would have paid in a supermarket! It's really a no-brainer for me.
