Word of Mouth Cafe in Edinburgh

Warm welcoming cafe, very accomodating towards our toddler, offering a highchair. The food was incredibly tasty and our two boys adored the waffles 10/10. Will deffinately be returning on our next trip. Thank you word of mouth its hard to find places that make you feel so welcome.

Great place with the best value for money, the staff are amazing and coffee is the best in all of Morningside. Iced Americano is my favourite! Five starts and keep up the good work

The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. Everything I've had to eat was nice. It's a nice break/lunch spot.

Best place for lunch or brunch in the area. The croque madam is the tastiest. Really lovely owners too.

A great cafe stop, I didn't try the food but called in for a coffee whilst waiting on someone.The gentleman behind the counter was really good and very clear on where I could sit and took my order at once.I've not been here before but I'll definitely go again as the coffee was tasty and the owner (?) was great. I felt he really cared and that's above and beyond in this day and age!

A friend introduced me to this cafe towards the end of 2020. So far I've tried the coffee (excellent!) and some cakes (very tasty and good portions). I went back there today as it has reopened (inside) after several months. It's a great comfortable and relaxed place with very good service.

Absolutely delicious! Came here for my daughters 18th since the Scottish Government shut all the pubs and restaurants....definitely a good call on our part! Could not fault anything we ate and the service was spot on. When visiting my daughter again it will be on our to do list. Not to be missed! Would definitely recommend and undoubtedly will be back again 😁😁😁😁😁

Perfect place to stop and have a coffee and something sweet. I've been visiting this place since the lockdown when they open, and honestly I couldn't find better place to go for a nice coffee, pastry and chat with the owners. Today, they have opened for sit in and I had a delicious eggs Florentine, very nice.

Lovely cafe. Lovely staff. Brilliant food. Vegetarian breakfast was lovely.
