Yangs Chinese Meals to Take Away in Edinburgh

Avoid, it's a scam. Their system confirmed the order and took payment, but once they failed to deliver I discovered that the contact number doesn't exist.

Food was always average at best, last order they didn’t even deliver and took a card payment.

They provide no accurate contact details to get hold of them. I was scammed for £70 at this restaurant and they will not refund me, even though the food was never delivered.

Worst Chinese ever. Waited 1 hour for salt and chilli munchy box it was a SMALL box with squid and everything just packed in. Really soggy and not edible at all. Really lazy chinese.

Bloody awful. Salt and chilli chicken was dry, chips were cold and soggy and no free prawn crackers (which used to be the usual). Really went downhill from when I ordered a few months ago...definately wont be ordering again!! 0/5.

Gave me free prawn crackers 5 stars! Only had fried rice and chips. It was pretty tasty

Tried here as normal local was closed on a Tue, so glad we did we'll be coming back! Under new management to the last. Food was amazing, everything tasted fresh and not artificial, delicious plus every dish tasted different to each other. Would rec the duck with spring onion and ginger especially but everything was great. Delivery quick and friendly. Easier to order with them over phone too

First time using this chinese takeaway - girl on phone sounded lovely, and food arrived in a good time scale, however the food was bordering on cold, when it arrived. The shop isn't far away so it shouldn't be a problem getting the food here hot. Food was nice, but would have preferred it hot. Not sure I'll be back, unless they can resolve this

Giving them 1 star is being kind. Phoned back to tell them that the food I had recieved was cold and they had forgotten the bottle of juice we had ordered too (which is a frequent thing). I was told I was wrong and I didn't know how the food was cooked! They offered me another dish but I would have to pay for delivery... for your mistake? I don't think so. My partner was not happy with the customer service so decided to phone back, she argued with him about his knowledge of Chinese food and how it's cooked for a few minutes before she told him (and I quote)"I hope you have an accident and die"Yes.... I couldn't believe it either.Outraged and shocked at the service we recieved from the woman on the phone as we were refused a refund after that attitude and threatening behaviour??! . We've been customers of Yangs for a while now but will not be back.
