Stunning YO Sushi! I've been to a few around the UK, (Newcastle and Leeds being my current favorites) and I can happily say Edinburgh Princes Street has surpassed my previous expectations from YO Sushi. The view was stunning, you can see the castle and many more historic views. Food was delivered in a timely manner and the ordering system is so easy and a lot better than before. I would definitely visit again based on the service, food and views. If you want Asian cuisine that doesn't empty your pockets with a wonderful Sushi bar experience here is the place to go, going in groups enhances the experience too! You won't be disappointed at this YO Sushi in particular, don't knock it until you try it 💖(Sorry for my photo, it doesn't do the view much justice but it certainly gives a good insight)

Came in here for lunch on our first day visiting Edinburgh. The food and drinks were amazing as always, however the staff were virtually non-existent. Once we were seated we didn’t see anyone again and had to try and flag someone down for nearly ten minutes to get a refill on our miso soups.Aside from that, we had a really good experience and would return as we love sushi.

Eugh. Not sure where to start. The only positive is that the staff were great. The food has gone dramatically downhill. The portion sizes are tiny but the prices have risen and the menu has had a lot of the decent dishes taken off. There's plenty of great Japanese restaurants in Edinburgh that do delicious food and are much more generous with their portions. Definitely won't be back.

Visited today with an original booking for 1pm however we were 45mins early after getting done with what we were doing. They very kindly took us. Explained how it all works and were very accommodating. The gentleman who dealt with us upon arrival was so helpful. Upon seeing me on crutches he told me to let him know when leaving and he would reverse the escalator for me to gey down to the street level again from the restaurant. I really felt this was so kind of him as I would never have asked and would have tackled the stairs. The restaurant wasn't too busy, there was screens up and we felt very very safe for my mums birthday treat. The place was clean and tidy. Food was delicious and very fresh! We will definitely be back again.I would strongly recommend booking in advance as one large group was turned away when we entered. Possibly down to the number they allow in as per covid guidelines.

Such a good honeymoon meal and a wonderful service from the staff. We felt so celebrated and looked after it was a fantastic way to end our honeymoon. The yo! Fries are also my new favourite.

We planned a day trip to Edinburgh for the final day of our honeymoon which included a light trail around the zoo and dinner at Yo!We've been to Yo! countless times but on this occasion, we were blown away. Very rarely does customer service get better than this. We truly can't thank Sara and the chefs enough for making this visit unforgettable. Sara is a credit to Yo! and to service staff everywhere. The surprise dessert at the end with the strawberries in the shape of hearts was just perfect.Thank you for making our day special and we will be telling this story forever! ❤️🍓🍣

Really fast service. Lots of space. All ordering is done via app, and you have an LED strip on the table telling you when your order is in the kitchen and on the way to you. Delivery is generally done via conveyor belt. BEAUTIFUL views of Princes Street, the gardens and the edge of Old Town. Delicious food. Portion sizes are slightly on the smaller side, but sushi is filling. Presentation was lovely.

Really fast service. Seating areas near the windows has a great view toward Princess St and the castle. Sashimi was fresh. JFC was crispy and sauce was good. Cucumber roll and Cali roll was crunchy and flavourful. Fries were nicely topped and seasoned. Staff were friendly.

Absolutely loved my visit here i would definitely book in advance thow i was lucky i could get a seat for myself as saw alot of people turned away. Its not cheap but definitely worth it at the price for a treat as the sushi is delicious and the staff are all really nice.I had some Sushi dishes the Japanese fried chicken which was full of flavour and mochi ice cream balls as a small desert in total it was £30 which is alot for 1 person but i had been wanting to go for a long time and it definitely lived upto my expectations will be back next time im in Edinburgh but will book a table to insure i can go as i got lucky the day i went in.
