Zizzi - Edinburgh Leith in Edinburgh

I love this branch of Zizzi. We are frequent customers as every experience has been a great one. Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff that always make us feel welcome. Located in Ocean Terminal, you also have the chance to enjoy beautiful views and access the balcony from the restaurant.Zizzi is also a partner of tastecard However, I do have one piece of advice for customers: do book in advance, if you can, especially if you plan on attending at busy times, so that you are not disappointed at longer waiting times.Enjoy!

Large selection of pizza, pasta and sides. Desserts were also decent. Food is well-presented. Lovely and attentive staff that provided quick service. The place is very spacious, surrounded by glass windows so you can enjoy the beautiful view. There’s also outdoor seating so if the weather’s ever good enough - it’s an option.

Went last night. Service was slow, despite it being quiet. Food was not all that hot, under salted and pasta was overcooked Normally like the chain, but that meal/location was really poor.

We have been today with my kids. Something happened with our order and apparently it never made it to the kitchen. We enquired after 40 minutes waiting and the staff kindly apologised and offered complimentary drinks while waiting for the food to be served (which we declined as we were fine). Finally the food arrived (I’ve never seen my kids happier), yummy as usual. They only charged for our drinks and desserts, which I think is a very good customer service. At the end, we left happy and we will definitely come back.

Great place for family visit. Food was nice and well served. Pizza for starters for 4 people. I had Chorizo Spaghetti Carbonara. Was amazing.

Food was just average, lacking flavour in all 3 of the main courses we tried. Can't necessarily blame the chef's as it's a chain so probably set instructions they follow.The service however was also poor, we waited 5 minutes to be greeted and then the gap between starter and main was way too long. The waitress apologised and said this was her fault (maybe didn't tell the kitchen we'd finished our starter was my guess as the food wasn't piping hot so maybe it was waiting under the lights for us) but nothing offered as an apology.Overall poor experience and would put me off using zizi again. If I find myself in Ocean terminal again needing dinner, I think I'll try one of the others

Had a good meal but we booked before we went I would advise because it was really busy. The service was very good. The food was good but I thought a bit pricey for the amount of food I got, (lasagne) and the food wasn't very hot we did complain. Nicely. Nice place on the port of leith. Good views. Would recommend.

Turned up on spec on Saturday around 7pm and was asked if we had a table booked. Immediately turned away as we didn't as they were "fully booked" until 8.30. So decided to eat at Frankie & Bennies instead with a table overlooking Zizzis. So in the entire time it took to be served and have a meal at F&Bs we counted 14 free tables that could easily have accommodated 2 for a quick meal. Looks as though the management couldn't actually be bothered to sit 2 people so they could concentrate on Take Away orders. Disappointed and would not eat at Zizzis again.
