excellent food and great service even though the restaurant was really busy

The waiter challenged me, about the flavours and authenticity of the food. Well, it was all fantastic ten stars. I would recommend this restaurant based on service friendliness and quality of the food. I was so impressed I am going back for my birthday.

Unfortunately I didn't get a far as tasting the food as after half an hour of waiting to be seated we left. We got there and it was heaving, there were no places to park outside. When we got in there was a large crowd of people, no one taking names or anything. I found someone and he took our name and said he would come and get us shortly, 10 minutes go by nothing, 15 and I asked someone else who told us she would be back in a minute. Another 10 minutes (by this time we'd spoken to 2 other couples both of whom were booked in at the same time as us and neither had been seated - one even said they had been refused a drink!) by the time 30 minutes came round and 2 more attempts to find out when we would be seated with still no response we decided it wasn't worth it and left. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to eating there given the number of positive reviews. However I'm now put off even trying again. Staff were pleasant enough but 30 mins waiting to be seated is not acceptable.

This is the best of its kind for many miles around! The team are outstanding in Customer Service, absolutely superb food.

Been coming here for 14 years, always looked after me and my family the food never disappoints And the staff are so welcoming food is excellent, nothing else compares.

Came for the first time and as an ex armed forces I have had many Indians in my time it is normally difficult to differentiate between them all some good some bad this one is awesome Had three courses and had something that made me go wow on all three excellent service from the moment we walked in to the moment we left will definitely be back on a regular basis highly recommend

Absolutely delicious food with super friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Would recommend you book a table in advance to avoid disappointment.

We were on our way to a wedding in Newcastle, only to be told to turn back as the groom had tested positive! Always driven past this place but never stopped by, so seemed the right thing to do, and it was! Staff were very helpful and accommodating, even with our 4 month old baby and pram in tow! Food was very excellent. Highly recommend

Wow. Top notch fragrant beautiful food. Melt in the mouth lamb, fluffy rice, sauce to die for (chattanad). Pickle tray excellent. Service attentive friendly and polite. Venue, unimportant to me if food is 5 star, also top notch. Immaculate and sumptuous
