Beetroot Bar & Grill in Midlothian

Excellent service, the staff we very friendly. The food was incredible and I was impressed with the selection of mocktails as some places offer very few of these. Visiting when on holiday but would definitely return if we come this way again. I had the skewers for main and cheesecake for dessert and they were very good and the portion sizes were very good!

We went for Wednesday lunch and drinks. It was a beautiful day, cocktails were marvellous and the food was fabulous. My husband had steak and chicken skewers which he said was amazing and I had the chilli burger which I would say is probably the most tasty burger I've ever had. The service was excellent and we had a lovely afternoon.

First time visiting Beetroot after many recommendations. It did not disappoint. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Excellent service. Would definitely return and look forward to doing so.

Loved the place as it was very cosy. The staff were super friendly. The food was even better! The fish and chips was a personal highlight and the portion was big and the coleslaw was great. For dessert I had the sticky toffee pudding which had a texture like it had been steamed. The caramel sauce was one of the best I’ve ever had. The eton mess was also very good with real berries and a great berry sauce. The tea I got was also served with complimentary biscuits!

Absolutely lovely place with the best fish and chips and desserts I've had in a while. This place will guaranteed leave you satisfied with their food as well as their hospitality. The prices are affordable and I wish I could try everything from their well made menu!

Was staying local and decided to try this restaurant.All our meals were excellent and will definitely like to come back.

Went with a friend ok experience staff should be more friendly I just felt unwelcomed and unattended came took order that it didn't even ask if we need anything else have to call them over and over again. will go again too see if it has improved.
