Absolutely amazing food tonight at my mums birthday meal. The manager Pauline was very warm and friendly. My nieces loved the play area. Very clean an covid rules followed 👍. Felt very safe. Would definitely recommend 5 🌟

Good value can fill your plate full staff very friendly. Carvery is just not served hot enough luke warm at best which spoils what is otherwise a very tasty meal. I like my food to be piping steaming hot.

Went for carvery on a Sunday so it was extremely busy but the kind server managed ro squeeze us in which we were very grateful for. The carvery was delicious followed by a couple of yummy ice cream sundaes. But mostly I would just like to commend how wonderful the staff were here. Every single one of them was friendly and kind and didn't falter even though it was clear that they were under pressure from the amount of custom they were dealing with. Thank you for a very nice Sunday carvery experience.

Fantastic usual Sunday breakfast. We like to come in before 9 and the two girls every Sunday always give superb service. Food was tasty and very hot. Will continue to come. Good price for all you can eat as well

Food was really nice. Waiting time was minimum. However greeting should be done by more enthusiastic member of staff without the attitude. I was in the area and decided to stop for a quick lunch, only to be told by "Karen" at the door that booking is essential at the weekends, but when you look around there was plenty of available tables. I felt I had to explain my self to her as why I dared to turn up without a booking. If it wasn't for her place would be getting 5 stars.

Located over the road from Butterfly World Elginhaugh Farm is ideal for a meal if taking the family out for a visit. The menu is quite extensive covering all your needs. Very friendly staff and the service is excellent the food was reasonable for the money you pay and there was plenty of it so great for kids

We thought you may have to book, but were shown to table right away, good selection of meals, didn't get the carvery but it was well stocked and tidy, prices were great,( I think better than wetherspoons).😜

Unfortunately my brother and I had an awful experience here this evening.. We turned up to collect our grandparents roast dinners where we then got told to head over to the carvery section to collect, which we did. When we arrived at the section where they carve the meats, the man with the long hair was extremely rude, seemed to have no customer service skills at all, didn’t smile once and deemed it acceptable to speak down on me and my brother as if we were children. He proceeded to cut the thinnest most pathetic slithers of meat I have ever seen in my life, I have seen more meat on a Tesco meal deal chicken sandwich which is telling you something.. he asked if we would like any Yorkshire puddings, I said yes. He then dropped one of the Yorkshire pudding on the dirty counter next to where all the meat was being cut and where the juices were flowing but thought it was completely ok to proceed to put this into the tray and give me it anyway. His tone was absolutely pathetic, didn’t seem to care about customer nor service. Prior to leaving I proceeded to tell him not to be a sour face little runt his whole life. Absolutely shocking service, would not recommend and will not be back. It would suit the pathetic little man to get off his high horse and be more respectful to customers.

Lovely food and lovely staff. Small point, letting adult customers near the carvery without a face covering, and wandering about the restaurant also, despite notices saying face coverings must be worn.

Every time we have a good experience there, with or without the kids there's loads of different options for every taste. Service is great, sometimes just okay, but food quality is always excellentThanks for being here for us! We'll keep supporting locals 👍
