Friendly and welcoming restaurant. Well organized, everything was set up as we asked. The staff were super friendly, great with children. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. I must also add that the portions are generous.

First visit to GiGi’s last night for Mothers Day and definitely won’t be our last. Absolutely incredible & delicious food, matched with tremendous family friendly service. My Granny dropped her Mother’s Day card as we were leaving and when we called the restaurant to see if it was found they said it wasn’t in the restaurant but then went outside had had a look for it, finding it on the pavement which I thought was a really kind gesture.Thank you again guys and look forward to visiting again soon 😃💙

So good. I had to tip twice. What a modern charming Italian.Parking was a pain but even that is not enough to knock a star off.The table was booked online and was quick and convenient, some of the staff were Italian and so was a couple of the customers so you know its a good place. The waiters were friendly and engaging. The sauces were fresh, along with the pasta. It was clean neat and very nice.

I take my family there regularly, and the staff recognize us, it feels good. I go there because both food and service is just spotless, even on a Saturday evening! Even Edinburgh restaurants cannot do that! Staff is also professional, and surprisingly kind - they are not trained students like most restaurants would employ. This place is now part of my life. I would highlight staff names, but would not be fair as all of them are gems!

Absolute brilliant night at Gigi's on Tuesday for my grandsons 21st. The food, service, cocktails and wine were first class, would highly recommend for a night out. 5 star.

This was our first and last visit to Gigi’s. We have heard many great things about this restaurant from our friends and family prior to our visit, so as a result we have chosen to visit Gigi’s for a very special occasion - Valentine’s Day celebration, expecting that there most certainly won’t be any disappointments. We couldn’t be more wrong. If you have seen photos of Gigi’s online you probably imagine beautiful cherry blossom tree with impressive interior details? That was not the case with our visit. We were sat at the worst table in the whole restaurant behind the service station, where table cloths (the same ones that were used to clean dirty tables) were sprayed and hanged on the banister that our table was against. The staff member was spraying the cloths 30cm from our faces and food with chemicals, then returning with a dirty cloth that he later would shake and hang back on the banister right next to our food. You will be able to see the proximity in the photo. Any other time this would be unacceptable due to H&S reasons, but during a global pandemic - this sight was appalling. We have asked to be moved to a different table but we’re advised that all the tables were taken, however at least 6 tables were free during our dinner time that we could have easily been moved to. The table we had was also beside the kitchen door, that was opening and closing every few seconds, interrupting our conversation, hearing shouting and swearing from the kitchen. We could not hear the background music as loud as the door hinges squeaking. The food was ok but we could not enjoy it as we had to experience cleaning cloths being sprayed, shaken and stored almost on our table. It’s fair to say our evening was ruined. We didn’t want to stay for desserts and coffee and left as soon after our mains. Our friends and family are shocked after seeing our table photos and hearing about the experience we had. All I can say is that this was the worst Valentine’s Day experience we had so far.

Suggested by a friend to celebrate her birthday and the restaurant exceeded my expectations. Excellent menu, delicious ingredients, very pleasant service. I haven't got a photo, but my seafood pasta not only looked great, it was yummy. Will definitely return
