Itihaas in Midlothian

Visited for an impromptu evening meal and all three of us agreed the meal was exceptional. Pleasant service, staff and atmosphere. Will definitely return.

We have only had takeaway menu from here and its lovely. A friend said to try a lamb dish you won't be disappointed. First time I've had lamb (lamb Pathia) so tender and tasty.

Been quite a few times service incredible on first trip I was unsure what to try so kitchen cooked off 2 meals see which I liked was delicious I went for butter chicken have it every time I go now

Nothing in the menu deserves less than 5 stars…This classic restaurant knows how to serve your taste bud excellently…I have had most of their starter ; all types of pakoras…I have savoured all their special and chef dishes too…the apple juice is the best among the best I ever taste in my life…the owner and the whole crew of the restaurants also nailed it to the point you feel the welcoming vibe the moment you entered the restaurant…this will be my must visit restaurant everytime I come to Scotland…P/S: see how big was my smile the moment the food touched my taste bud…⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💥💥💥💥💥🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈

Friendly staff clean restaurant not to big or small just right size they do have a family room for bigger groups. the only thing I didn't understand was toilet Why pay so much attention in the restaurant but not the toilet's. definitely needs some attention.price wise very expensive I can't believe I paid £2.25 for cup of green tea wanted to order dessert but each dessert was for £4.95 food tasted very nice love my grilled chicken I do recommend it

Excellent as always.We've been here a number of times, in groups small and large, on different nights of the week. The food is always amazingly good. The staff have (and deserve) awards for customer service. I'm sure we'll be back in due course.

My family and I absolutely loved visiting this restaurant! The food was absolutely incredible. So fresh and tasty. The staff just couldn't do enough for us. We are a fussy bunch and every request was met with a no problem. We also had a 1 year old with us and the staff went out of their way to make sure she was catered for. Absolutely nothing I would say that needed improvement. We can't wait for our next visit. 1st class. Well done.
