Kweilin in Midlothian

We have used the kwei lin for around 10 years. We have always experienced very good customer service. The food has always been to a high standard and still hot upon quick delivery. However. This evening we ordered. Still fast delivery and hot. BUT the wrong items. We called the restaurant and got greeted by a very HOSTILE female. She would not help and if we wanted the order rectified we would have to pay for the replacement!. WE SHALL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN.

Ordered food and was told it would be 1 hour, 2 hours later called backing to to be asked by the lady behind the counter what do you want me to do about it lovely customer service. still waiting on my order

Great food at reasonable price staff always very friendly. Definitely the best in the area.

One of three Chinese restaurants in the area, in my opinion it's the best one, BC (before covid) the restaurant was the best place for a meal with a loved one, the owners are extremely friendly and welcoming, if you are new to this restaurant I highly recommend the chicken curry and egg fried rice with peas, it is delicious and filling.

Barbecue sauce is perfect! I’ve not had a bad meal yet , Hot because delivery is always in good time .

Best chinese in the area. The curries are scrumptious and the staff are great too. Food tastes great and big portions for a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Very disappointed with the way they have put the price up when no one nos if they still have a job hos about putting them down to help the people who have given you the lives that you have as if it wasn't for the people off this town who also came to yous when yous when you were down the main street before you whent to greenhall ware would you be now try helping the people who have support you

The restaurant was really cold even after booking for 15. After arriving we waited over 1.5 hours before receiving our starters. The hired help was running around trying to serve everyone while there were others standing around not doing much. I ordered duck spring rolls, after waiting an eternity they finally arrived. I could not see any duck in the bamboo shoots. My husband and I eventually gave up and cancelled our main course after being in the restaurant for 2 hours and noticing that home deliveries and other tables coming in before us were getting priority. While Jasper was good as normal, run off his feet. The rest of the service was non existent. My son came in after we had been sat there for two hour. He ordered a takeaway and got his food before we even got served. Shocking.

Tried this tonight due to the positive reviews and not knowing anywhere as we’ve recently moved to the area............. we definitely won’t be back again!!! Has to be the worst Chinese I’ve had if I’m honest 🙈Munchie box was just greasy and dried out/crispy. Sweet and sour sauce had no flavour at all.Chicken curry totally tasteless with poor quality chicken.The chips and rice weren’t bad but the rest was just put in the bin. Not exactly a meal hahaI’m never one to leave a bad review, but god knows where the good ones have came from!

Disgusting. Crispy sherdded beef in honey chilli sauce should be simple enough but it was ruined with over powering raw garlic in the sauce, never had garlic in honey chilli sauce before. Waste of money & food. 1st & last time ordering from there
