Mario Crolla in Midlothian

Food, delivery and customer service are disappointing enough to force me to write this review. Expensive lesson.

Our monthly treat love the fish n chips here, wouldn't go anywhere else

Worst take away in Midlothian, and staff where extremely rude. Used to be very good but the last few occasions I have ordered either for pick up or delivery they have been severly lacking.

Marios is a very friendly chip shop. I highly recommend them to anyone who hasn't used them before

The food was fantastic...New York fries particularly. But had to wait nearly 45 mins for our forgotten order to be sorted...hence dropping one star.

Asked for a shaslik and ended up with a shish in a mess still charged full price The staff where rude also not good enough especially when you travel far from it because of its "good" reputation

Excellent chip shop food. Queued out at tea time. Lots of staff on. Only down side was a female member of staff was really horrible to a younger female member of staff almost reducing her to tears. No need for that. It wasn't nice to witness, I felt so sorry for the poor lass. Other than that great chippy 😊

Never had the greatest experience when I went to Mario’s. Ordered a ham & cheese pizza and it came half cooked and had Spam meat instead of normal ham. Phoned to complain and was asked to return it for an exchange. Almost half an hour later I was given a burnt pizza this time instead and it tasted just as bad. My child had doner meat from them and it was cold, rubbery and tasted bland.Wouldn’t recommend, as there’s plenty of other better takeaways in the area.

Good quality food, sadly same cannot be said for staff. Delivery driver stands shoulder to shoulder with you without a face mask, two staff with face shields that don’t even reach their nose, and an attitude problem when you politely request a correction to an order. Customer lost.
