Mcdonald's Restaurants in Midlothian

Service was slow and staff too busy talking about their new namebadge to acknowlege us. Milkshake was not thick like its supposed to be, was more like milk. They forgot to make the apple pie i ordered and offered me an ice cream which i declined as i had a hankering for an apple pie so had to wait even longer and if I had wanted ice cream I would have ordered one. Absolute shambles. Counted 5 staff members just standing talking. It also attracts the local youth mutant squad which staff dont deal with, making the experience uncomfortable.

Made a simple small order at the drive through.. breakfast muffin with jam and toffee latteOnly to find they forgot the jam and no toffee in the latte… I don’t eat plain muffins and I find coffee too bitter without sugar/toffee so just wasted money on breakfast as they didn’t get anything correct

First time visiting this new Mcdonald restaurant in Dalkeith. A lovely, well laid out building with plenty of seating inside, upstairs and outside. Service was friendly and efficient.

Disappointment again. The entire order is missing again. Today we ordered a large order, when we got home we noticed there was no burger, no fries, no cola. This is another time that we have been deceived.Disgusting order. I am ignoring the incomplete order, two drinks and one woodcock. There are no sauces with the chickens. Where were placed in the order. Hair in a burger. It's not possible what this is going on. I haven't been ordering for a long time, but I won't be ordering any more. The order was for ice-free drinks with ice and one drinking straw

25 min wait . The delivery drivers being served infront of me and when the food arrived the chips were greasy hard and undercooked. I sent the chips back and the ones I got in place of the first ones were worse

Went to mcdonalds tonight specifically for the new chicken big mac , and was presented with this! I also ordered 3 milkshakes 2 strawberry an one banana an was presented with 1 small banana an a strawberry and nothing else. I told the boy that my order was wrong and that's not what I paid for. He said that he couldn't do nothing about it! Won't be back to this restraint worse mcdonalds. Ps the food was cold on serving AVOID

Had a great experience tonight, not busy, lots of staff, tables were clean and the food didn't take long to come.

Stopped for a quick break on a long journey. Small order. Took 10 minutes to prepare. A happy meal, one burger, a coffee and 3 drinks. All of the drinks were 2/3 full, nuggets and chips cold and burger sloppy. How has McDonald's gotten so bad.? From an industry leader to bottom of the pile

usually everytime i come here, i get great service and usually leave with 5/5 stars.although this time, staff were so unhelpful. they told us we couldn’t order downstairs (even though it said we could) and staff not doing their job and just sitting down doing nothing.they also got my brothers order wrong even though he asked for cheese on his burger (he did not get this)giving it a free because the meal was really good! lol

The restaurant is located next to tesco, greggs and other shops, seems to be shared parking so I don't know if there is a time limit. The restaurant it's self is on two levels with seating mainly on the upper floor. The lower floor has a small seating area along with a delivery driver waiting area that is not signed at all. I only know this as myself and my partner sat in this area and were asked by the staff to move as it was for delivery drivers only with nothing to tell customers this.The staff member offered if we sat upstairs he would bring our meal up when it was ready.There is a lift to the upper level, which had seating along with an area marked for staff only.The area was mainly clean unfortunately the first booth we went to sit in had a dirty table surprisingly as we were the only customers in. There were safety barriers between the booths.The wc were clean and tidy, and all in working order.
