Came here before going to visit the chapel; the food was absolutely wonderful and the staff were great as well. Delicious steak and ale pie and good ale on tap. Inside was very cozy as well. Definitely would come back here if in the area again.

you are better off starving! A country pub in Scotland not able to pull off Sunday roast (awful meat, frozen potatoes, frozen and overcooked greens). Such a shame as it could be a gem of a place.

This place is very special to me. When I was younger my nana (rip nana) would bring me from Edinburgh to the old original. I remember the food as "the best" and the memories just as special. I didn't know that you were still open. I cannot believe the nostalgia just seeing the photos online. Will be out in the summer for sure. Absolutely beautiful place & area.

Overpriced and sometimes questionable food quality. As the only pub in the historic village, it takes advantage of, and mostly caters for the tourists, disregarding local custom at the same time

Myself and partner had our Christmas Dinner there it was excellent. The food was great, the staff very friendly and the dining room was done up beautifully. Would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic retreat for great food and drinks with easy free parking!!! The staff are very friendly and efficient.I'm just very lucky to live fairly nearby.Can definitely recommend the Original Rosslyn Inn to everyone.

A lovely inn built in 1892 offering a warm atmosphere in traditional surroundings. The staff were very welcoming and the menu had a good selection of good dishes. The mac and cheese was delish, portion size BIG!

The original had been recommend by my son so thought we would give it a try. We both had the Sunday roast it was lovely ,the meat was nice and tender. For dessert I had the chocolate brownie it was fab my other half had the sticky toffee pudding he said it tasted better than any he had in other places. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon .
