Very expensive drinks as with all pubs no prices until you've got your drinks!! Staff we not very welcoming TV very loud

I love this place after a long walk from pentlandhills you can have dinner or lunch here.And it's a d9g friendly.

Tasty lunch on a busy Sunday lunchtime, despite the business the service was efficient and friendly and food was good value

Good pub grub after a long walk in the snowy hills. Staff could crack a smile but nonetheless a pleasant experience. They have 0% beer on tap which is AMAZING.

As usual a friendly welcome from the owner even though we were pretty muddy. Good beer, good food. We'll be back. A great pub!

Had breaded fish and chips very tasty, two had battered, kids had chicken goujons, and a burger. Then ice cream, raspberry sauce and flake. Didn't give 5 as no Xmas decorations, no fire, no music, making it not a very welcoming atmosphere

Warm, cosy and relaxed. Just perfect for a nice plate of soup or something more substantial to eat after a winter walk.

Visited this place (as we have before) for a pre Christmas lunch with my husband and 3 other family members. While the food was passable the service was atrocious. We decided to eat in the dining room which was very cold and when we asked for the heating to be put on we’re told “it is what it is”. Their attitude throughout was shocking and we will not be back nor would I recommend to anyone. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star but no option.
