The Polton Inn in Midlothian

First time here ,warm friendly welcome as we came in ,food excellent and good value ,burger and home made chips so nice and nachos too ,will be back again

Have been in there many times over the years with no problems, went out for the 1st time in 2 years and was left very disappointed, food was no more than adequate, small portions, but the main thing was small children running riot most of the whole hour we spent there, we could not hold a conversation over the noise, neither the parents or staff nipped it in the bud, Won't be back

Very family friendly place, great hosts and the food is good although didn't rate the steak pie but everything else was perfect. The decor and lounge layout has been renewed and its looking really good. Happy to see this place open again and wish the new team all the success.

Very welcoming hosts. Good food although steak pie wasn't the best, short crust pastry which was quite hard however the filling was tasty enough. Very child friendly. We will be back again though

We were at a wedding reception here recently! Oh my God it was brilliant!!! All the staff are sooo sound and friendly and just so accommodating! Food was gorgeous! Prices so good!!We will definitely be back.xx

Just back from The Polton Inn for tea with hubby!!Had a starter each, main meal each and cappuccino each and all for under £35.Food was lovely, well worth a wee visit.Staff are very nice and friendly.Would recommend!! 😁😁👍👍

Went for a meal Saturday 7/9/19 food was amazing as was the service first time being here in a long time and will certainly be back. Thanks guys keep up the good work.

Just been recently refurbished and wasn't expecting much when we decided to head there.Arrived and hit the bar area, place looked great, bar staff very friendly and helpful. Great setup for watching the football with a big TV.Restaurant area looks great as well, haven't sampled the food just yet but it's on the cards.

Fantastic organisation by Carol and team.Had a 50th party in the lounge and I can't fault anything apart from....The chap that spoilt things at the latter end! You know who you are!Your customers happened to be my family and friends, get over yourselves!
