Aldo's Fish Bar in West Lothian

Went against my notion to go to Tonino's and thought I would give Aldo's another chance. And I'm so disappointed....!- Poor service - not a welcoming atmosphere at all.- Poor portions - there was nothing large about my large chips and cheese which were to share... barely filled me up! For £5.20 I would've expected something extravagant.- Poor quality - chips were partially cold and like cardboard.Will not be going against my better judgement again.

Got chips couple nights ago wernt cooked right got a baked potato tonight and its brick hard not cooked either

Just had our first order from here. bit disappointed it arrived cold. And your only down the road.

This chippy might be unassuming from the outside, but the food makes it well worth a visit. The fish was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious - crispy savoury batter surrounding soft white flakiness, and the chips were equally tasty. Highly recommended!

We've been going to Aldo's for years. Always very friendly, and good chips and pizza. Worth the wait if chips aren't quite ready. I've not used their online ordering.If only they could do gluten free.

Ordered food through website, ten minutes later notified food order was cancelled,Considering the the portion sizes are minuscule you would think they would welcome the business!!!!Totally unprofessional

Ordered a LARGE chicken kebab with Salad. Quite literally the smalled Large kebab I’ve seen in my life!!! Next to NO salad either..just a few poxy bits of lettuce. Called up and they did not want to know. Pathetic service & portions. AVOID

Been going to this chippy for more than 20 years. Always been in the same hands and never had a bad experience. Staff are friendly and the food is always excellent.

Iv been working close by and always look for good takeaways and have to say they are the best around here in my opinion. Lovely food,great prices and they even deliver
