Artisan Cheesecakes in West Lothian

Great little hidden spot!Definitely worth a trip, if you're going on the weekend definitely book a table it fills up quick.The staff are very nice and all very accommodating, I do think they may be suffering from their own success they were very slow to take orders and the food took quite a while to arrive.We came in for a quick bite on our route onwards but it's not so quick.The cheese cakes look amazing and they will make whole ones to order.The entrance is step free and has a car park for a good few 8 or so cars but there is also plenty of parking around.

Quaint, cosy, can take your dog in. There's brilliant food. Many cheesecake flavours to try.

Scones are always served warm because they are frozen, although it states made fresh not really fresh if they have been frozen, cheesecake is always lumpy (not mixed properly) also has been sitting in the fridge for a week, always comes wet and soggy looking like it’s been in the freezer and defrosted!!! Caledonian cheesecakes makes there’s fresh everyday for cheaper and taste so much more delicious!!! Not aloud to give tips directly to staff as they get shared out by the amount of hours you work, although I would rather give the tip direct to the person that has dealt with me. Mac and cheese taste like sick too grainy as if cheese sauce is out a packet. Charging people over the odds for cheap nasty food cooked by under qualified chefs!!!

Staff are lovely the cheesecakes are £3.50 a slice to take away and tbh I felt they were quite average. Nice relaxed environment for sitting in.

Went in and ordered takeaway, place wasn't busy as I entered when it opened. Got Cheesecake x 6 slices for our family New years day dinner. Place was nice and clean with sanitiser on the way in, the notice advised to wait to be seated. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Was here on Tuesday with a couple members of family.Not overly busy when we arrived. It took 35 minutes for someone to even come and take our order! I went up to the front desk twice to ask to place my order to be told to take a seat and someone will come us as it’s ‘table service’.Our waitress had a terrible attitude, very rude, as if we were the inconvenience to her day.Not one apology offered. After our order was eventually taken, we then waited a further hour and 16 minutes for our food to arrive!This is absolutely ridiculous and the staff were nothing but rude and unhelpful.Not our first time visiting here but we definitely won’t be back after our experience on Tuesday, and I’ll make sure to tell my friends and family to stay clear.Terrible!!

Cheesecake was great. We had planned to eat in but when we entered we were ignored for 15 minutes by staff who did not acknowledge us in any way shape or form. Absolutely appalling behavior. I was left holding my baby for an unacceptable amount of time before anyone spoke to us and by then we had decided not to eat in due to the behavior of staff. The chefs were not wearing masks either so the level of safety being practiced is questionable at best

Today my husband and I celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary. Due to the current pandemic we are nervous of eating out so we ordered our celebration dinner for home delivery from Artisan Cheesecake shop. The delivery was speedy and the food was excellent. Everything was piping hot and well packaged. Thank you for making our day special.

First time visiting and will definitely be back. Cheesecake was amazing. Menu looks amazing and such a huge choice of foods. Amazing little place.

Really small, slightly out of the way, but totally amazing place! From savory temptations to the sweetest cheesecake desserts, so much to choose from, you can't go wrong! They even have a cheesecake shake which includes a full slice of your choice of flavors in the shake, not just bits. I had the breaded chicken burger with home made chips (fries) and it was fantastic! I didn't want the side of slaw and asked for Mac and cheese on the side thinking it would be just a small bit and they brought me a dish of it which was so yummy. Amazing service as well. The inside of the restaurant is small and quaint with cute artwork on the walls, some of which can be purchased. A couple brought a dog in and they not only welcomed the pup, but brought out some dog treats. Now that's hospitality!
