Fantastic pizza, always have a good meal here. I ordered the Diavola, though as a fan of spice I would have loved more chillies on mine 😊 Delicious anyway, and washed down with two perfect pints of Peroni.

Dropped in for a coffee x 2. Excellent and the sticky toffee pudding and ice cream was to die for. We will go back there and try a full meal. Service was really good.

Still trying to work out what happened here, much like the staff and the manger. We booked as a group of 20, food and drinks were great and everything was grand until the bill....we all worked it out, deposit removed service charge and tip added yet we were still £200 down. Extremely odd, we calculated and calculated it again nope still £200. Manager wasn't helpful at all until....one of our eagle eyed party noticed 10 haggis bon bon starters...we had ordered 4.All of a sudden the manager became interested and blamed the computer system. We left what we had worked out and didn't receive a single apology. All I would warn is if you are in a big party check absolutely everything, this isn't something that happens "accidentally due a computer fault"

As a regular visitor who has previously scored this restaurant 5, I have to say my latest visit was less pleasant. The noise levels were so bad from a couple of surrounding stations that we gave up any attempt at a conversation until we managed to get moved to another table. The other person with me described it as 'bedlam'. The food was good, the staff were great, but the management took no action over what was really unacceptable behaviour which completely destroyed any of the claimed ambience. Would I go back? Probably not.

I just fell in love with Italian food again. Beautiful restaurant, excellent service and the food put a smile on my face, it was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to return for more. My new favourite place for food now.

Authentic italian restaurant, mushroom starter delicious but found the haggis bon bons alittle bland. Main course made up for this, tomato sauce over the ravaolli was devine. Fresh pasta, lovely surroundings but rather chilly waiter who didn't come across friendly. Although would pay another visit without a 2nd thought.

Update: Came back again while passing through Linlithgow this year and still loving Bar Leo. Brilliant with the kids. They loved each of their three courses. Nice to see Peroni on draft now and the Italian Sauvignon was beautiful. Highly recommend the Prawn Puttanesca, supreme flavour. For main course, hard to decide between Lobster ravioli or Veal with wild mushrooms, both are wonderful.Previous Review: Authentic Italian feel. Good menu. Mushrooms stuffed with black pudding were delicious. Would have like to see more wines by the glass and draught beer rather than just bottles.

Tasty tasty pastas! If you are looking for a classic Italian restaurant like your used to from when you were a kid!The breaded veal Milanese was AWESOME, was expecting it to come with a steak knife but it didn't and it didn't need to, it was soft and super tasty! The tagliatelle with bacon, peas, cream and cheese is epic and might be one of the nicest pastas I have has in a long time. The penne, chicken, peppers and spinach was not anything to write home about (kind of like a ready made pasts from a shop). The deserts look awesome and home made, we were too full to try one but definitely look worth it!The waitress was lovely and all staff were lovely, we did go on a busy Friday night so service was a little slow but not bad considering how full it was.Classic Italian decore, very comfortable. We will definitely be coming back.
