Chenzo's Restaurant in West Lothian

While visiting Scotland we were lucky to find it because if you drive too fast you don't notice there is a restaurant. We only took a main course but there is much choice and not only pasta and pizza. Interesting proposal of the day: mussels with garlic. Very nice and efficient service. Prices are correct. Much consideration even for tourists ! 👍👍

Had a lovely meal this evening. My husband said it was the best spaghetti he has ever had (& that includes in Italy!). My pizza too was delicious. Extremely friendly service from the owner. We shall definitely return before our little holiday ends. Highly recommended..

Lovely genuine Italian restaurant owned and run by the same family for many years. We were there on a quiet Tuesday night which meant we had the chance to chat whilst being served, and not forgetting enjoying our host’s cooking as well! Well prepared and presented. Not overly fancy, just good ingredients done well. Highly recommend.

Can't believe I haven't been before! Wonderful food, run by a lovely husband and wife duo. Desserts are home made and the cheesecake is easily the best I've eaten in any restaurant.

Last minute dot com booking, just back from abroad and the only seats in town on Valentines night..... Chenzo's. We decided to hell with it, whats the worst that can happen? Im glad we did... Simple? Yes. Basic? Yes. No frills? Yes. BUT..... Tasty? Absolutely!! If you like a straightforward, hearty meal, full of flavour with no faff.... This is the place to go. We will DEFINITELY return for seconds and thirds and so on. Steak sourced locally, beautiful cut of meat and cooked to perfection. WELL DONE CHENZO!!

Went with my mum and dad, it was the best meal I’ve had in a long time. The chef was so lovely and made us feel very welcome and the food was outstanding. Would highly recommend going and we will definitely be back again.

Had a wonderful meal here for a works night out. Food was superb. Small family run, all food made to order nice to get away from the chains and find an independent. We ere the last guests there and the chef came out and had a chat with us. I will be back.

Held wife's 70th birthday meal here: for 6. Chenzo facilitated a special menu for us. Nothing was too much bother for him and we had a fantastic meal. The whole evening went so well. The welcome was warm and the staff friendly and accommodating. This is a lovely Italian restaurant which I have no hesitation in recommending.

A great meal and plenty to choose from. All home made Italian food. Only 10 minute walk from macdonald hotel. Well worth the walk. Excellent meal for 2.
