Always good food from here , and having the Loch near by give you a near picnic place

I'm a big fan of the fish here.Its always very tasty and fresh. The staff are lovely and they have a great variety of items on the menu.The fish sizes are occasionally on the small side but a large supper will always guarantee you have plenty of fish.The corner door has no steps so easy to access for disabled and it's usually not too busy. More often than not I get a fresh made fish which is exactly what I want, even if I have to wait about 5 mins for it 😀

Just got home from golden chip ordered small fish supper looking forward to it the whole piece of supposed to be fish was all batter no fish at all. Fuming for the price they charge 😤 never again its too expensive I would have taken it back but too far out of linlithgow. You need to get your act together poor poor quality.Hungry and annoyed

Few months ago I got a mince pie supper got home had the supper for my dinner .I was up all night being sick the mince pie was absolutely disgusting point 2 11/3/22 bought a Chipsteak supper couldn't bite thru the batter chipsteak was not hot god knows how long it had been under the hot lamps the Chipsteak was dried out how long do they keep food under the hot lamps I will never darken there doorstep again

You can get cooked southern fried chicken with many other choices, staff is very friendly, a very hygienic place where you can get mouthwatering and irresistible food

Ordered a small fish super and when I opened it it was lost of half prices of fish cooked on battwr. I took this back and was told "what do you want me to do" " I can't help it if I can't get fish" . Do not sell pieces of fish a a whole would bea good start

After seeing a few negative reviews and having been here lots of times in the past I thought I'd share my experience of TGC. Nice staff, doing a great job in these times and circumstances and the fish and chips were outstanding. Really is a great chippy 👍

Having looked forward all day to either a Indian or fish and chips I thought I would try the Golden chip as it was on my way home.After a welcome stare from the staff who seemed disinterested and looked out of place without there phones in their hands , I ordered a fish and chip supper5 minutes along the road and to my disappointment the fish was dry tasteless and bland the chips were also bland and tasteless. Not even tomato sauce helped make them taste better. BINNED and away to order a IndianNot worth the money and won’t be back , maybe I am giving them a injustness but first impressions count and it was not the best
