Awesome place to chill and have a pint. The staff are brilliant and so are the regulars

Bar has been given a lick of paint and a new projector tv has been added. Very nice. Actually thought I was in the wrong bar lol. Few other changes have happened since my last visit. I like what they've done.. so far 👍👍👍

Room service staff are rude and the rooms are falling a part my window was broke broke couldn't shut for 3 months theres water leaking from my sink and someone is stealing clothes ie I got my jack stolewould not recommend

Its not really set up for paying guests. It houses homeless people and they can use the bar. Tbh I wouldn't take kids there as its ibvioys some clientele are very rough. Shame as ut used to be a great place but some might not feel safe drinking there.

Visited the Coach Inn Bar to have a few relaxing pints and a few games of pool.Very welcoming, staff were very friendly and the beer was nice and cold.There's a pool table, jukebox, bandit and quiz machine plus they also show live sports.This bar is part of the main hotel which also has a restaurant which is open to the public. Not eaten here for a number of years but not heard any negative feedback about the dining experience

At £80 for a double bed room, this is seriously overpriced. Hotel is old and shabby. Toilet didn’t flush properly, windows didn’t lock properly, and there’s no wifi. Aside from breakfast, there is no food or drinks on site (apparently that stopped 18 months ago). There are signs up pointing to a beer garden and a bar...Place seems to be in the last slide towards being sold off for apartments. This place might have been good 30+ years ago. Avoid.

Gee whizz. £160 for me and the Mrs for 2 nights. We was expecting not 5 star but something half decent for the money. I must say though, the blonde lady on the front desk for very pleasant and well mannered, she herself set the example of the scottish, immediately felt welcomed and relaxed, thank you for that :-) however the hotel itself was dreadful. We booked double room and got a twin. Hey ho not the end of the world, room was beyond the price very old and shabby. It however did have a decent tv so I was happy. Shower absolutely tiny. Couldn’t turn around in it hardly. But it did the job it washed me, brekky in the morning. Continental happy days. Fry up - NoNo! Sure it wasn’t bacon! Sausages were edible but the spoon full of beans I received was an insult. You could see the waitress was on edge giving me the child’s sized portion! Poor girl! It went down because I was hungry. Outside furniture covered in cob webs !! Green moss and spiders everywhere! However bedding and beds were clean and comfortable, Won’t stay there again though. Was an insult to Scotland. The foundations for an amazing hotel are there it just obviously needs a new owner/management!

Had to rate it to make a review otherwisw would give it 0 rating. room shabby, wallpaper coming away from walls, sink tap in bathroom lose and tap on shower broken, breakfast not the best, and very loud music till turned midnight (friday/Saturday) during our stay from the adjacent bar, will not be staying again.

Was really unorganised for our works Christmas night out even though it was booked months in advance. Absolutely no vegan option available even though they were made aware on 3 selerate occasions that we had a vegan in our party. Ended up with absolutely no dinner at all while everyone else had a 3 course dinner. Was pretty embarrassing. However I did get a refund after some mortifying negotiations where the hotel blamed outdoor catering and the catering company blamed the hotel. The night didn’t seem to be planned as we had booked a 90s night and the DJ had no idea about this until we complained and then the manager asked him to play 90’s musics. It was a good night due to brilliant company but the actual venue, organisation and lack of vegan options was a big let down.

Wasn't satisfied whatsoever. The room service was a disgrace , The receptionists at front desk just didn't seem to be intrested in any issues I had with not having a control for my tv. Which I brought up several times and on each occasion was told we'll get to it. It still didn't get resolved. , The double bed split into two parts was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in also , The bathroom was very inconvenient regarding the small shower , sitting on toilet was really cramped.Overall for £70 a night in my opinion is overpriced. I would pay at least £30-£45Never again. I'd rather stay at the premier in.
