Pizza Express in West Lothian

Good food and nice atmosphere. However, I was disappointed with the Ceasar salad, the dressing did not taste great and it had a boiled egg.

Popped in today for some lunch and it was lovely.Doughballs to start which are a staple when visiting. I always enjoy Pizza Express’s seasonal offerings and got the Vegan Sloppy (think Sloppy Giuseppe but with Quorn chicken instead of beef) and it was brilliant. I’m a vegetarian and not vegan but would recommend this pizza to anyone - my meat-eating partner had a slice and enjoyed it as well. They got an American Hot and said it was delicious.Staff were attentive without being over the top. Being able to pay the bill via the app is a handy addition and something I’ll use again.P.S. sign up and download the app and you’ll get free doughballs and things in future.

First of all, waiter corrected my pronunciation of bruschetta and he was wrong, so was other waitress. Cesar salad had rocket in it and some sort of fish not anchovies in my opinion. Prawns were gooey and bruschetta was just wrong. Also, egg in Cesar salad ? Sorry, maybe pizza is good but I won't be back. Shame

I went for a gluten free option as I am ceoliac...if you need to eat gluten free for medical reasons do not eat here I have been ill and running for the bathroom the whole day after. Obviously they do not have an understanding of cross contamination. I won't be eating here again!

Very busy which is a good sign. Really good staff but food needs a bit more attention. Calamari sauce was salad cream, chicken wings were edible with a runny sauce, pizzas were ok. Would I return? No.

A couple of weeks ago we had a dreadful experience here, so bad it led me complaining to the MD. Long story, I was invited back for another try.Fair play, this was a much better evening. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food was really good. IMHO you'll get a way better pizza here than from the 'Hut or Domino's.I feel like I need to give Pizza Express one more try in the future, as I've had one dreadful experience and one good one. Next one is the decider!For now, four stars.

Terrific lunch out with the wife. I had the Calzone 'Nduja and it was amazing. Nice kick of spice to it and a good sized portion. Would highly recommend.

Friendly service, happy to make changes to the order. Good food as always at pizza express!
