The Courtyard Cafe at Polkemmet Country Park in West Lothian

Played golf here for only the second time in a year as a visitor. Greenkeepers have made some welcoming changes to the course drainage issues. Well done to all involved. Pity that some people still treat it as a dumping ground blocking up ditches with road cones etc. Greens were in great condition for the time of year.👍🏌️

This is an amazing place. I was totally ignorant about owls. Beautiful creatures in all shapes and sizes. The young woman giving a brilliant presentation (Nicola) was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and clearly dedicated to the cause. So good you will definitely go back. I will👌👍🦉

Beautiful view and fresh air for evening walk

Visited the owl Centre which the kids really enjoyed, staff were very friendly and informative. Plenty of different owls to see and also a display.

Good for walking the dog a nice wee playpark for the kids didn't make the owl centre but hopefully next time

A hidden gem! Very well kept park, beautiful alleys perfect for a pram or a wheelchair. Great playground for children with unique attractions (viking swing, train, castle). The cafe in the visitors centre is open Tuesday to Saturday from 9am until 4pm (may change with the season though). Many lovely locations for a picnic and generous car parks.Would definitely recommend for a day out.

It's a lovely place for walks. Plus there an owl show which you have to pay to see. Adventure playground for kids, Driving range to brush up on golf. It is popular with dog walkers. Easy car parking enjoyed the visit.

Had an amazing time at the Scottish Owl Centre today with my nephew. There is a huge variety of Owls to see and it's great to see them all looking happy and content. We caught the flying display at 12:30pm and it was wonderful. The handler (I've forgotten your name sorry) was extremely knowledgeable and friendly when asking some questions afterwards.I just can't believe it has taken us so long to come and visit - we will be back again and again now!! I've even come home and sponsored an Owl :)Thanks to the entire team - amazing job!

A lovely walk for adults and kids of all ages. A wide variety of wildlife, plants and trees to look out for. A big play park with a real train to play on and the Scottish owl Centre is also worth a visit. A 9 hole golf course and driving range is also available to try and a bowling green. To help spend the day here you can also use the bbq area or the cafe and toilets. Only 2 minutes off M8 at The Heartlands junction.

Great outdoor park for the kids to play around in, lots of different types of climbing frames and activity areas with a sandpit or two and small fort to play in as well plus an old steam engine. Loads of space for walking, very picturesque. There is a car park but I can imagine it getting busy and being difficult to find a space.
