Arrived solo with no booking, place was packed. Staff endeavoured to find me a table to settle in for the night, though it took some shuffling around - but I hugely appreciate the effort, they went above and beyond to accommodate me. Food was great, staff were friendly and attentive, awesome vibe, lovely pub.

Nice friendly atmosphere great staff and the food was lovely. Seems popular with families and couples alike and dog friendly to. They seem to have got it spot on. Great local pub .

Oh fabulous country pub. Great atmosphere, clean and so friendly . Good menu very varied. The lasagne was delicious.

I quite like a burger, but this is the worst ever!!! The chips hard and over cooked. I thought a pudding would cheer me up but no the churros were hard cold and the wee jar of toffee sauce was cold 6.95 for two!!!!

Loved the food here for years. After lockdown however it’s a “new menu” Steak Pie in a rich gravy was the best anywhere, top class.Now, there’s much less of it with stew in a watery gravy and chips were also quite thin and crispy on what looked like a smaller plate.Seriously disappointing meal and why when you have a winning formula would you change it? Won’t bother in future.

Nice pub with a good atmosphere, plenty of parking space and some really good food from a fairly simple menu. Pub quiz seems to be on Thursday nights at 8pm, so possibly try to avoid that time if you are looking for a quiet romantic meal for two (or just join in for £1 and come last like we did during our visit last week!)

Food is nice, however the smaller portion size is way to small.I had the Chicken and leek and bacon pie 🥧 it had 3 very small pieces of chicken 1 piece of bacon and no leek.Very disappointed. 😞To summarise :Service good.Food was goodPortion size poor
