The meals in this place have gone down in my estimation. I had fish and chips (tasted like cheap fish, although menu just stated " hand cooked fish", maybe that was a clue? My hubby had "hunters chicken", he said it wasnt very good either. Price was good, but would rather paid a bit more to taste nicer quality food. Certainly wont be back for a while!

The atmosphere is amazing and the whole team of staff are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to help when needed Amy K was very welcoming and took care of us. We had our wedding function there and the price was amazing cannot fault it! The food is well presented and served quickly would definitely recommend.

Had an amazing experience was so good to relax with the family . Can I also add there was a young lad called Jordan seeing to us and he couldn't have been more helpful to us if he tried he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Even gave us directions to the garden centre we will definitely be back and recommending you to your friends. Fabulous service well done guys.

Saltire just started a Breakfast Club every day 9-12. , which didn’t disappoint. The menu offers standard cooked breakfast fare , plus breakfast baps , toast and jam or eggs/beans on toast for the smaller appetite. We had the XL Scottish and Veggie Breakfasts, which were all well cooked- tasty and hearty, made fresh to order. The veggie sausages weren’t available but we were offered top up of anything else to make up. Was handled very well.Staff very friendly and obliging. Give them a chance, definitely recommend - good value for money so 5 stars !

Not too often I leave a review when I go places but this one was definitely well earned. First of all I want to commend the servers, I was served by a lass called Amy K and was left wanting for nothing. On top of the service the food was really good, normally when you're out on a Saturday the food at some places can let the standards slip, however here I got my food quickly and it was hot and delicious. Too top it all off the atmosphere here was enjoyable and perfect for a chill weekend out, will definitely be going again.

Decent pint and hot wings were very hot 🔥! Easy to order on the app and had the football on!

The new menu is great, good value, and epic portions. Struggling for staff it seems as poor folks were run ragged, not thier fault though.

Had a good experience at the Saltire for Father’s Day. Food was great, cocktails were good and the waitress bless her was rushed off her feet all night but still managed to tend to everyone’s needs at top speed. Would recommend.
