Thistles Coffee Shop & Catering in West Lothian

Can’t thank Bobby & Marion enough for their help organising a family wake. Food was lovely, great selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls and variety of cakes. Service was spot on - checking with us to makes sure everyone was catered for including gluten free options. Nothing was too much trouble and the family appreciated their guidance for everything to run smoothly on the day.

Great food, friendly staff and fair pricing. Just passing through on the A71 looking for some lunch, didn’t stop here first but glad I didn’t go with my first choice. I crossed the road and I’m sure I’ll be passing through more often. Very spacious tables considering the current pandemic though I had a take away panini that was absolutely gorgeous and coffee was great too. Thank you very much 👍

Absolutely first class establishment. Food is of very good quality and the staff are very attentive and friendly. The Scottish breakfast is amazing one of the best I've had for a long while. We also tried the afternoon tea it was so fresh and tasty, and very good value. Oh and don't forget the homemade cakes.....I'll definitely be back soon. Thank you. Geoff Davis.

Love popping into Thistles for lunch. Food is always lovely and service excellent.Ordered afternoon teas for a surprise party last week. Was so glad I did. Sandwiches, scones and cakes were fabulous! And even some beautiful chocolate covered strawberries! Everyone at the party commented on how lovely it all was.Thanks to Marion and all the team at Thistles.

Enjoyed an excellent brunch there this morning, poached eggs were perfect! Customer safety is obviously a high priority and the staff were excellent at making sure everyone had sanitised their hands and knew how to check in for track and trace, whether that was through a mobile phone or just manually. Pleasant and attentive staff, great food. Would recommend.

Went for lunch with my Aunt today and, as always, the food and service was exceptional! It is obvious that Thistles has worked hard to ensure they are operating safely and everything went very smoothly. The staff were friendly, helpful and the food was fresh, incredible and very tasty! I would highly recommend!

Well worth the visit! Food was lovely and well presented. We opted for soup of the day with a filled baguette from the menu which offers a wide selection to choose from.We couldn’t fault it, rounded things off with tea and and a cake from a very good selection. Overall our lunch was Great value for money. The waiting staff were efficient, friendly and worked well together. Pleased to report that Thistles are adhering to all current Covid 19 regulations to the letter, which we found very reassuring. Drop in if you are in the area. You won’t be disappointed.

Nice, bright place, plenty of space. Coffee and cakes we had were excellent, and the staff were very friendly and quick. Recommended.
