The staff are really nice You couldn't get food as the chef walked out

It wasn't busy when I arrived and I got a table easily. They have a red/green card system for table order, green when you are ready to order. I changed it to green and waited. And waited. Staff were standing at the bar chatting 2metres away from me but no one bothered to take my order. I waited about 20 minutes and then left. Thanks for the rest while I was waiting for my friend, we're going for dinner and drinks somewhere else now

Visited on21/1/22 and after being told it was table service only, and watching staff ignore us and clear a few of the many dirty tables right next to us, we had to approach one and ask to give our order. We ordered 2 large breakfasts and when they eventually arrived we immediately noticed there were no eggs on the plates despite being listed on the menu as part of the breakfast, when we asked about the missing eggs the waitress told us the "grill was broken" and that she would bring us poached eggs ......we were ignored for the duration and were left with an incomplete eggless "breakfast"We will not be back and advise others to steer clear, poorest service I have ever recieved and communication from staff was downright awful

As a family of 2 adults and one 3y kid we managed to sit and wait for 40 minutes without attention at dirty table. Another 5 tables arrived after us has been served and 2 of them finished theirs meal and left before we had served our meals. After about 45 minutes we made an order and had to wait another 25 minutes and ask where are our drinks to get them.Definitely not going back to this place.

Was here on Sunday 2 Jan around 2pm. It was absolutely mobbed and lots of dirty tables. After sitting at one I asked at the bar to have the table cleaned. No one came. Had to ask again. When they came they took dirty plates but didn't sanitise the table. Had to send back food when it came until a server had cleaned our table. It's supposed to be enhanced cleaning during covid and this was just filthy. The gents toilets also smell very mouldy. When food came it was tasty and good value for the price. Wouldn't come back.

Waited ages for staff to clean a table, asked 3 members off staff, then the lassie with red hair was cleaning a table so we went over whilst she cleaned plates away she left us stood waiting and got on with other tables with out cleaning the one we were stood waiting on this lassie was very rude and very abrupt with us, this place is not following government guild lines with waitress service only as you have to go and leave your table to do things, also not very clean and not covid clean not cleaning tables properly or equipment, we will not be back!!!! The bright red headed lassie will remember us as we were the family with the wee lassie in the wheel chair she was so rude too, I’ve worked in hospitality and would never treat customers like she did! Place was not covid ready!

there was no pitchers in stock and we had our hands up for about 20 minutes and to no avail, no one came over, so my friend phoned the number and asked why there was no pitchers in stock. they asked our table number and we thought we were FINALLY going to get an explanation, then the bouncers came over and told us to leave after we finished our drink. absolutely DISGRACEFUL service from this place i'll no be back and will he telling everyone to avoid

Went for Breakfast today, disappointing , table was so sticky menus were sticking to it, needs cleaning - coffee machines do not make coffee hot, we have bought this issue up previously, asked for a poached egg instead of fried, was told after paying that poached eggs were not possible, although I had this last Saturday, asked for ketchup and there was none available and no sweeteners available. Normally really enjoy breakfast here but have found standards appear to be dropping lately, staff are still friendly though.

Comfortable pub, sadly lacked true pub atmosphere, but was friendly and a decent place to rest, eat and get a drink. Good food.
