Was up at garvie and co today sun was outi asked can we have a table out side and was refused was told we are not serving today outside ?.a bit strange as thay are not offering tables out side as thay are all stacked up.thair loss.

Visited with friends for lunch and so disappointed to be told soup was Coconut and chilli - asked several times to young waitress if the soup had any other content ie. carrot or squash but advised no just coconut. That sounding horrible I opted for Greek salad which was expensive for £11 with about 4 olives, 2 tomatoes and mostly bitter rocket all covered with tiny flaked feta rather than in chunks which would have been nicer. Friend had soup and it looked lovely bright orange colour so clearly carrot or squash or vegetable soup of some sort.

Not terrible but not great staff young and not very good service ? But must blame there training. Food can be good but sometimes not so. should be better for price payed

Popped in for a couple of drinks as it's the largest place in Milngavie and with only allowing table service it was the only place we could get a table. Service very slow, waited approx 10 mins before waitress took our drink order. Atmosphere was okay, nice and cosy but when visited the toilets was disappointed - very untidy, obviously not checked regularly or even repaired as toilet roll holder and soap dispenser broken. Really needs more attention paid.

Chicken ceasar salad was just what I needed! Cool bistro bar, great food, beer OK but not priced for fifers!

Went there today , average service young gentleman with blond hair clearly couldn't be bothered to serve anyone. Terrine was ok , turkey roulade not pleasant very plain, pigs in blankets uneatable , smelled really cheap .

Always a pleasure to visit this very nice restaurant. A meal or just for coffee, a real benefit for the village. Staff are great and even when busy, take time to make sure you're happy with the service.

Ate here 28th and 29th October great food and very helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble, my food allergies were taken very seriously and the resteraunt is covid safe, will definately go back, we always eat here when we are in Bearsden
