Ordered a fish supper last weekend and waited 20 minutes was told to wait outside, was a 5 minute drive home and fish and chips was absolutely stone cold due to the lack of packaging and insulation, absolute disgrace would give 0 stars if I could

will no longer order from here. arrived 2 hours late and room temperature - no salt, no vinegar (even though we asked for extra of both). if you can get delivery from another then choose them. not worth the money, and its a consistent problem. other chippies deliver to bearsden from town with better speed and quality.

A disgrace. Have been using Romy's for years. Just not the same. Last order I placed the quality was poor. Thought we would use again but totally regret the nostalgia of the years of being a customer. An hour for delivery but approaching 2 hours later still nothing. This place is an utter shambles. Driver called in sick but no foresight to use my number which was requested to tell me. Just a real joke. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!!!I eventually cancelled and much appreciated Pizza Enrico for delivering a great feast so quickly. Thanks again Pizza Enrico 👏👏👏

Edited below: It's good but my god they are slow. They mess around with online orders while people wait in the queue. It's also expensive, about a third more than you would pay for equally good fish and chips in the east end. It is no doubt more expensive to do business out here but with a bit of efficiency they could really speed up the orders.Edit: the slowness was a Covid thing. I've been loads since my original review and it's been much quicker and more efficient, and they are the most consistently high quality of the local fish and chip shops. Good stuff.

Fantastic fish and chip shop, I had ordered my fish suppers from this traditional chip shop over the phone as I was travelling from Lenzie as our local one is shut on Mondays, anyway told them I will be there in 20 minutes, got there on time and my wonder the fish was crisp and chips were good, customer service, well satisfied. Thank you so much for the good food shame you don't make pizza in house as rafaels pizza's are just good for dog food

I placed an order via uber and instantly thought I'd made a mistake with the reviews here but I have to be honest,I have no complaints really. Yes it's slightly more expensive than others but that's the case with lots of places and Yes,wait time on delivery was a bit longer but,if a chippy isn't busy on a Friday night It really can't be a good chippy can it? My order arrived bang on the time I was told it would and the girl who delivered it was very pleasant and bubbly. Happy household tonight guys,thank you.

Excellent Fish and Chips here, the fish tasted Amazing very fresh, the batter was crispy and delicious . I would say that is a proper fish and chips. Excellent service excellent food, friendly Staff Definitely worth a second visit 👍

Food is very good, but they are quite stingey on the portion of chips included. Also quite expensive for fish and chips. We got a small tub of curry sauce and it cost £2.30!!
