BEST WESTERN - Eglinton Arms Hotel in East Renfrewshire

We had our daughter's wedding in the hotel yesterday and I cannot rate the whole experience more highly. The staff went above and beyond to make everyone welcome and to make the day truly memorable. There were guests travelling from around the UK and abroad and all were delighted with their experience. Several said that the choice of venue was perfect and I couldn't agree more! We have a large number of vegetarian and one vegan guest and the food was greatly enjoyed by all. Would not hesitate to recommend 💯!!!

I haven't even left yet but want to add my review.We have had a delightful, peaceful stay. The stand out asset at this hotel is its staff. They are all super helpful and friendly. Proactive and willing to do what is needed to make your stay perfect. Shout out to the housekeeper ladies who are particularly fab!Delicious breakfast.And I can't fault our room. We stayed in the honeymoon suite (Valentine's/Wedding anniversary!) which is worth the extra £.Eaglesham village is beautiful too. Would love to come back. Highly recommended ❤️

Lunch was booked for 35 as this followed a visit to bury a loved one at a local cemetery.Everything was ready for our arrival with a section of the restaurant allocated to us.Staff were very attentive and made sure that the 3 course lunch was served without any delay.Excellent service all round.Well done to all.

Great hotel in a lovely village. Food was great and the hotel staff could not have been more helpful. Will definitely be back in the future. Have now been back and the experience was to the same high standards, will definitely be back again.

Absolutely perfect setting for a romantic setting the rooms were spacious and the velux windows own control panel was a bonus. Hotel was clean and looked sparkling to walk into. Staff were all very nice and helpful even when I forgot to put my mask on they spoke nicely to remind me. Definitely be back for an overnight and have highly recommended

Great hotel, we stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our sejour, the hotel is very clean and the staff are very welcoming. The room and bathroom were spotless. Coming back to the hotel on the second day my partner had a small car accident when out on the road late at night, and with not being familiar with the area, I went to the reception for some help and advice. Pauline at the reception and Shannon were great with me, and helped the best they could. The staff deserve more than 5 stars ! The only thing I would recommend is to book a room with a side window, as our room was quite dark with only the velux window on the roof. The hotel's cafe is really nice, and if you are a late sleeper you can still grab some bakery items and scones before 12 downstrairs. There were always people around and locals enjoying the bar and restaurant, but the room was always silent which was perfect. Would recommend and will definitely come back to stay again !

Warm welcome, efficiently checked in. Room clean, modern. Bath room lacked soap dish & shower tray mat, but assured by receptionist these oversights would be addressed. Overall, we would be happy to stay again.🙏

I was very happy with my room for the night. Very clean, lovely fluffy towels and an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was fabulous, the best scrambled egg I have ever been served. Highly recommend a stay

Where to begin?! There are two of us with two dogs and the hotel has been perfect. We have been made so welcome, everyone is so friendly and helpful and it has been a very comfortable stay. The rooms are a perfect size, the bathroom was small but fine. We stayed for 4 nights and ate at the hotel on one evening and would recommend it. The breakfasts were lovely and our thanks to Connie and the other staff who were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. There was a wedding on the Saturday evening and we were not disturbed by any noise and that is pretty impressive when hosting an event. We loved our stay and thank everyone at Eglinton Arms.

Stunning decor!Shower was unreliable, hot and cold but the room was perfect. Spacious and plenty of plug sockets.Staff were lovely. Two weddings on during our 2 night stay and we weren't disturbed in the slightest.The fairy lights in the garden were beautiful.
