Buon Appetito Chip Shop in East Renfrewshire

The food here is great, but the wait time is shocking.. everytime. Also, on the plus side the servers are friendly. I plan to continue eating from Buon Appetite and hope they address the wait times soon.

Super fresh, not too greasy, has been the best chippy I've found in Glasgow so far!

Great food and fast service. Will need to try the tempura menu next time!

Have ordered from here many times and the food is good which has bumped it from 1 star to 2. The past 5 orders have arrived with either zero or a trace amount of salt and vinegar despite requesting extra of both. The orders have been taken down correctly as it is read back over the phone so i'm not sure whether its intentional from a health and safety point of view 😄 however i'd like to be the one deciding how much i have with the occasional takeaway. Last night our order arrived over 30mins after the one hour expected wait. I had a very polite apology for the delay from the nice young man when i called to the shop but no apology from the delivery lady which was disappointing and yet again no salt and vinegar 😩 needless to say we won't be back

I'm trying gluten free stuff and found this place did it. Fish and chips were good. Nice place to walk into, good staff.

Amazing food with great selection of fish, home made pasta and even burgers. Not to mention the Italian ice cream. Plus, to top it all, the staff are really cheerful and ready to help. Most definitely a place to visit!!

Our first experience last night as weather called for a hot chippy.. staff were very attentive and went our their way with dietary requirements even 10 mins to closing time. Their gestures go a long way to remember! Will definitely be back :)

Lovely food, as a gluten free eater its so refreshing to have choice on the GF menu, fish and chips were lovely, great prices. Would recommend to anyone Gluten free or not!

Giving this establishment 1 star as there's no option to give a minus star.Having used this place for many years previously with no issues whatsoever , until the last 3 occasions on their delivery service.These occasions were.....(1)...Two (2) hours late(2)....Wrong order(3) Forgot about our order completely, on phoning them up only to be informed that they were closing .So we decided to give them another opportunity by going in person and order over the counter. Thinking what could go wrong ,sadly once again they just confirmed our previous last experiences, very poor service at best , diabolical at worst .The staff having lost my receipt (number 35) I waited and waited until I had to go back into the shop and ask them , where's my order ?UNBELIEVABLE.The supervisor offered me a complimentary home made tartar sauce as compensation for their mistake .Will we use them again....NOWill we recommend them ....DEFINITELY NOT.Probably the worst experience of purchasing anything ever.I am more than happy for anyone to enquire about my honest review as I would not want anyone to part with money on something that was very late and sadly not worth waiting for.
