CATCH - Fish & Chips in East Renfrewshire

Food below average. One fish supper more batter and very little fish. Prawn tempura very poor. All meals cold. Placed an order four days before order and received a phone call ten minutes before pick up on the day scampi was not available. Totally unacceptable. Very very poor quality.

Nothing short of Excellent. Family fish dinner 2 kids ate the lot no fuss. Fish was top quality batter even better. We also opted for the squid and brocoli tempura starters all were delicious.

Fabulous restaurant (we were in the Giffnock branch, Fenwick Rd). Welcoming staff, great service, attentive but not intrusive. I had the pan fried prawns with a sweet chilli dip to start and they were perfect.Then the haddock in a panko crumb was my main choice. It came with ample sides and it didn't disappoint. Would have liked to try something from the dessert menu but the main was a generous portion so sadly there was no room. Will definitely go back (with an eye on the lobster ). Sorry, no photos, too busy enjoying the food.

Haven't had such a good fish supper in a long time! Lovely crispy batter and very tasty chips too, all prepared quickly, efficiently and served with a friendly smile 😃

Service a wee bit slow but worth the wait ( and cost). Have used them several times now and food always delicious. Good delivery service too This is not just fish n chips.........

Every time I order I get a different portion of what I actually expect. But today I got a lumpy gravy and hardly any chips with our suppers. Consistency and quality is not continuous.

The setting was amazing, plenty of seats on the outside, inside and upstairs. Upstairs was a lot warmer as kitchen was directly below, hopefully some fans could sort out that issue.Menu had plenty of sea food options and it is all freshly displayed in a cabinet as you enter the restaurant. It is a little be expensive but worth every penny for freshly sourced fish and they also use environmentally friendly products.Staff were also great and the atmosphere we couldn't fault. Keep up the great work and look forward to being back.P.S. Chicken was halal for anyone interested.
