Amber Regent in Glasgow City

Excellent as ever. Great food, service, menu and atmosphere. Sure, it's still behind Lychee in my estimation, but can't fault it.

Food from the a la carte menu was really tasty and the portions were generous. Loved it.

Food and service second to none will definitely be visiting again food to die for yuk sun very nice I had chicken satay would recommend wife had chilli chicken also very nice can’t wait to return its nice to get value for money

Very good quality of food but reflected in the price but well worth a visit staff pleasent and attentive.

Brilliant meal on Hogmanay.. staff amazing especially with my fussy young children, food amazing.. would highly recommend.. been a few times now fab every time 🤩

Not coeliac safe. We ordered a takeaway from this place and called beforehand to warn them that one of us was a coeliac and therefore needed to avoid all gluten. We also checked that the meal would be free of contamination and were assured it would be ok. I have had a pretty bad reaction from the meal which tells me that nothing was done to prevent contamination and there were significant traces of gluten in the “GF” meal.Sadly this was our first night on holiday to Glasgow so it has completely ruined our trip. Not happy. I’d avoid this place if you have any issues with gluten.

Super Chinese restaurant with friendly staff. The service staff here are so welcoming and sweet!The sweet and sour king prawn dish was really generous on the prawns 🦐 we also really enjoyed the lettuce wraps as a starter and it made such a difference to have freshly made prawn crackers rather than old stale ones that other places have.This isn’t cheap takeaway Chinese food, the food is really delicious. They have scaled down their menu since covid but still have all the usual favourites. We always come back!

Beautiful restaurant right in the heart of Glasgow city center.I walked in without a booking and was seated immediately in a slightly smaller room even though the larger room was pretty full.The service was excellent. Attentive but not fussing....friendly but professional.The vegetables for both my soup and main course were super fresh and the food was delicious, lovingly prepared and presented.Very reasonable prices for the location also.The decor and surroundings are very tasteful and the bathrooms are large and clean too.Well done Amber Regent....I thoroughly recommend this restaurant for lovers of Chinese cuisine.
