Amore To Go in Glasgow City

After calling the number on Google and being sharply advised to call the takeaway number. 1st time hung up on, 2nd attempt finally answered. Tbh what's the point £9.30 for one bit of fish and chips served with a scowl? Much better chippies at better value on the same street.

A review long overdue: Giving 5 stars because can't give 6. The best pizza and fish and chips that I've had. And I've had plenty btw. The pizzas are the closest you can find to authentic Italian pizza in Glasgow. My fav is Della moglie which I recently had.The fish and chips are just perfect. Something I cannot find in other chip shops. The haddock is as fresh as it gets, and the batter is perfect- fried to a golden crispy perfection. Shows the dedication of the team to serve great good- EACH TIME.In short- this small restaurant and takeaway makes their food with absolute amore.

Have eaten here several times now. Love the food and the wine. Very welcoming with great customer service.

The atmosphere is great due to Edmundo , Ally, Andrea and Genaro as they are very friendly and make you feel very welcome! The Salmon is delicious and very generous portion actually 2 you get .Also, the Seabass is excellent washed down with a glass of crisp white Sicilian wine. Keep the good work up team Amore and we will be back 😄Thank you

Lovely food... Perfect experience for a family catch up, waiting staff were lovely. Highly recommend!

I met a friend for a catch up early dinner. We both had 2 courses from pre theatre menu. I had Caprese starter and risotto fungi and my friend had mussels and pollo Milanese. All of the food was delicious, with good size portions. Service excellent. A great experience as always.

Went for the early evening menu, and at £10 for two courses (£12 for three) it is well worth the money. A local favourite for us and would be happy to go back for that tasty comfort food any time. Server was friendly and enjoyed the chat.

Wow what a wonderful place, which is still keeping the real Italian spirit. The staff was polite. The food was very good, fresh and tasty. I was very nicely surprised of everything. Would recommend this place and do get ready to pay well 😉

Great meal here with family using the early evening meal deal, which is fantastic value for money.We had 3 courses for £11.95, the menu was brilliant and you had lots of options.The staff were friendly, accommodating and following Covid guidelines.Starters were mozarella sticks, pate and bolognese nachos. Great portions and really tasty.For mains we had a margherita pizza, spaghetti bolognese and 2 pasta amatricana. Everything was fresh and delicious.Pudding was billionaires cheesecake, tirimisu and ice cream.A lovely, friendly wee local. ⭐
