Absolutely Brilliant, there for a class reunion and well looked after in their private room with bar.Such friendly staff.

·

Nice ambience, fairly quiet when I was there Thursday lunchtime. Good food, fair selection of starters and mains, with sensible portion sizes at a reasonable price. Good beer, a couple of hand-pulled ales. The McEwans IPA was particularly tasty. Excellent service. A group of us eat there every few months, and always happy to go there as a regular venue.

Great live music on a Saturday afternoon. Shame the Oscar Marzaroli pics have all been removed and replace by a high TV.

·

Great atmosphere, extremely efficient and friendly service. Competitively priced. Let down sadly by the food....The meat in the steak (??) Pie was very dry and overcooked and the bisto-like gravy wasn't good. Would still go tho for drinks only and the good vibe

Lovely and warm, homely.Lovely food aromas.Nice mix of clientele, both younger and middle aged groups and couples.Staff friendly and welcoming.Drinks reasonably priced considering its Merchant city.Menu appeared lovely and fairly priced Good choice of wines.Food looked good.We had some pitta and dip as a snack only and it was really nice.It was busy enough without being mobbed. Background music ,you could chat easily. We stopped here as a starter drink on a night out and ended up being here most of the night .

Reasonably priced beverages. Good social atmosphere in a well decorated establishment. Plus live music playing upstairs. A good night was had.

We held our wedding here on Saturday 23 October. It was perfect. The staff were great, nothing too much bother. The food was delicious. Couldn't have had a better day. Highly recommend. Thanks to all at Babbitys.

Fantastic food and drinks at reasonable prices, with free entertainment -free for all folk/Scottish music with guitarists, singing, accordion, flutes, violins. A great way to while away the hours on a Saturday afternoon. The older lady in the hat (see pictures) also plays! Recommend you book a table as it can get busy, with a few folks standing at the bar.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Staff so welcoming and friendly. Clean room and en suite. Continental breakfast delicious - cereals, pastries, fresh fruit yogurt, tea and coffees, juices. We were sadly only staying for one night, but will definitely stay again in the future.
