Beefeater Black Bear in Glasgow City

Their plant based Sloppy Joe is one of the best tasting burgers I've ever tasted. One of best barbecue sauces too. Decent portions and good service.

Probably the best meal I've eaten at a beefeater or anywhere in a very long time the staff here go above and beyond, outstanding service. I wish I could give you more star's.

We travelled for a funeral and the black bear is well placed to receive folk like us.I get the impression that the staff are very used to our type of customer and are very friendly and helpful and even advised us of where and where not to go for evening meals with spot on accuracy! 👌🤣

First time I'd been here for about 6 years. Staff were really happy and friendly, our server was Joyce, she was great. Food was excellent, portions were very generous.

Fabulous - start to finish - all staff so friendly and helpful (Lianne in particular). Great food, I had rump steak and could not have cooked it better myself! Felt very safe to eat here too as sanitisers stationed everywhere. Staff All wore masks as we had to, until we were seated. Tables well spaced for added safety. Can highly recommend the food. Loved this place. Shame we were only passing through!

My first night here was terrible. Everything I ordered was out of stock and I settled for a ribeye steak. I ordered it medium/rare....came well done. Seemed to have a soup of the week rather than a soup of the day. The waitresses were really helpful and friendly, especially the blonde lady in the mornings. Had a great sense of humour and really made us feel like we were at home. Drinks are a bit pricey though...London prices.
