Bella Fresca in Glasgow City

Best ever pasta to take out. Great bread if they have any left. Great Italian meats and cheeses. Brilliant ice-cream. I love the selection of drinks and groceries. Prices not expensive a kind good value

Really nice homemade feeling and food. Big portions and good ingredients. Nice staff and clean place with a good vibe. Not big but have enough seats for a kid size group like 20 ppl.

I was not expecting this! I ordered pasta, which is something I never do. Being Italian, very critical of pasta especially. I must say, it was cooked at perfection, al dente at the right time. Unfortunately they were offering only two types, penne and spaghetti. The sauce was a tod rich but we are in Scotland after all! They have a deli section, you can find lots of products of Italy, not just in packages but also on the counter, guanciale!! Mamma mia. Bread and all other sorts. Great find!

Nice intimate restaurant with friendly staff and tasty food. The cocktails were great but did take a while to arrive due to how busy it was. I would recommend getting the carbonara without cream as it was very rich. Will definitely be back!

Really sorry to have to give such a poor rating as we've eaten at Bella Fresca several times in the past and I would say it's always been slightly above average for what it is. Unfortunately this visit proved well below average, in fact it was seriously disappointing. The quality of the food served was appalling. I paid 8.95 for what amounted to a flattened toasted Ciabatta with almost nothing on it. There was supposed to be some form of ham on it but it was barely visible. I felt as if I paid near 9 pound for a bit of toast. Really very poor value for money. My partner ordered a different sandwich and was equally disappointed, such a shame they've let it go as we used to enjoy going there. We wondered why we were one of only two tables being used, there was a time when it was always very busy. I do hope this review reaches the necessary people to bring the quality back to Bella Fresca!

Ordered Take Away Lunch today. It was absolutely fantastic! Food was ready at time requested, piping hot and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Really appreciated the specialtouch of some dips added to the order.Thank you so much!
