Always a great place to eat. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Food is always of a high quality and very reasonably priced. My favourite place to go for lunch.

Was a fallback option, was planning on going to St Jude's but wasn't able to get in and couldn't be more happy. Was craving some dirty food for once and Bloc hit the spot. I had a pulled pork burger which was awesome but my brother's spicy chicken burger is something I'm going back for.Have the Vladimir Poutine fries with peppercorn sauce with cheese.Service was awesome, good atmosphere, not really anything not to like, as Ronseal says it does what it says in the tin!* Went back and the food was not quite as good but the live music was amazing so keeping the 4*

Decent food, good atmosphere and really great music. I went along for lunch with a friend and loved it. Decently priced.

First-time visiting here (to play a gig actually) and loved it! The food was fantastic, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and it generally had a great atmosphere overall. It's a small bar so may get busy on weekends, but definitely one to pay a visit to even just for a meal!

Cheap, great veggie/vegan food and good live music. We came back multiple times for more poutine. A great spot for dinner and drinks!

the service and food were awesome! really, incredible service!! i got a typical cheeseburger, which was delicious, however my only complaint is that the beef wasn’t the best quality. that didn’t take away from the experience, and since the burger was so reasonably priced I still greatly enjoyed my meal.

Really love the atmosphere in here. Has a student/casual vibe. The food is great, a good selection of veggie/meat options. They do deals during the week too. It can get pretty busy though

I've been to Bloc a few times and know that sometimes it's a wait to be served and have no problem with that. I do however have a problem with sitting down waiting for nearly 20 minutes only to have a server ask me rudely if I'm wanting food and then chatting with the table next to me while she places down my cutlery and takes my order. Ordered a Wednesday special and a pouting on the side and when it came it was only the special, no side. The lady was more interested in sitting at tables with other customers and chatting with them than getting my order right and giving the time of day. Very disappointed overall with this experience.

Bloc is a Glasgow institution. Good food, good music, good drinks choices. The veg/vegan menu is extensive too.Between us, we had burgers, poutine and wings. All pretty decent but some dishes were just ok (Halloween wings were fine, macaroni needed more seasoning, poutine gravy was too salty). Nothing enough to warrant complaining about, but could be enhanced to make it amazing. The tonic in my gin was flat (probably from the gun) and they replaced it straight away with a fresh one and bottled gin - I thought this was really good.Service was good and it was tidy and clean inside.Well worth a visit!

Great food, and even better staff. Could only access the menu once I had scanned the track and trace QR code and submitted my details which is a great idea! I'm so glad this place exists, especially as I am vegetarian and lactose intolerant and they have plenty veggie/vegan options without compromising on quality!
