Was a lovely experience and would go back again. From the greeting we received, to the table service, clean linens it was definitely a fine dining experience. The food was amazing I went for the vegetarian dish with polenta for mains and it did not disappoint.

Tasty food but at a high price. Taster menu had some big hits but also some courses which were so-so. Did not 'wow' me- perhaps at this price point it should have done?

Excellent, we had the celebration menu and switched out the lamb for duck. Fantastic food, great service.

·

A truly amazing meal and dining experience. The food and service are fantastic. We'll worth splashing out for a meal here.

Had our daughters wedding dinner here. Excellent food, excellent service and staff were so very lovely and very accommodating. Seriously made the day extra special. Many Thanks you to all the staff who were attending.

The food was flawless but the entire experience was ruined by the service which was unbelievably slow. Whilst it is nice not to feel rushed, over an hour from ordering to receiving your starters is not the service I would of expected when paying a premium.

Had a lovely pre-theatre meal here with the other half. The complimentary monkfish amuse-bouche was lovely with a little hint of lemon. My ham hough starter was to die for with the spiced pears being the absolute highlight of the meal. The duck main course was good but the thyme jus could have done with a bit of salt and a bit more thyme if we're being honest, it felt a little bland with the rich sweetness of the roasted parsnips and the creamy potatoes.

Fabulous food ,friendly relaxed atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and great wine pairings.

The duck starter was very well done. The foie was fantastic, although the leg terrine lacked seasoning. I didn't like the quenelle of tuna salad amuse bouche. The scotch sirloin steak was good, but I wanted it rare and was told that was not possible (I assume this means it was precooked sous vide). The steak also needed more seasoning, but was quite tender (again, miracle of sous vide?). The potatoes were fantastic and perfectly cooked. Surprisingly, some of my bread had a soggy top (how?!, why?!). The service was attentive and helpful. I think for the price, I would expect Michelin perfection, but the food was only 'good'. Overall, a nice celebration venue for graduations and such, but it needs a bit more elevation and attention to detail as well as bolder more flavourful food. I think it's a great place for a starter and a drink in a beautiful atmosphere

What can I say about this restaurant this has got to be the best place I have been for years the food was amazing. We went here for a small family wedding meal, the staff where so friendly and helpful, and even the chief came out to see if we had enjoyed our meals which was a nice touch. Highly recommended you will not be disappointed.
