Cafe Ludovic in Glasgow City

Not sure why the woman on Sunday had to be so rude but all customers were barked at and she ensured the whole cafe knew she was rushed off her feet (it wasn't that busy). I was having a take away which another member of staff politely made and took my money. Her gruff colleague then barked the price at me again and I informed her I had already paid (confirmed by her colleague). This was followed by a mini tirade about how the till was now wrong and that I said I hadn't been charged (blatant lie). We all have bad days, but this person seemed to think everyone should share in hers. There are several cafes on and near battlefield road that will no get my business.

Nice n greasy all day breakfast. Friendly staff, in that Glasgow kind of way where everyone's treated like an old pal.

Stopped by for some food before Coldplay at Hampden. Had a 10min wait for a table (which was fine). Then waited ~20mins to place our order (despite making eyes at the staff). Then waited ~30mins for our fish and chips, mac and cheese, and bangers and mash, and had to scoff it in about 2mins to male the gig.Staff were moderately friendly but just couldn't cope with the amount of customers (which they should have been able to since Bruce Springsteen played at Hampden the week before!)

Was in this Great Little Place a few weeks ago with My Son we had the club sandwich it was a Credit to the Chef! absolutely amazing for the money . I have also been known to pop in for an all day breakfast , which ive thoroughly enjoyed. Granted the staff in the past were rude I have experienced this, but not now, and a little bit of respect and encouragement to the present staff maybe would'nt go amiss . I recommend this great place in the heart of our community.

The food is amazing. Brilliant coffee, great prices and the staff are friendly and attentive. Worth a visit if you're at the nearby hospital!

It's absolutely true that the staff are a bit rude, but I love the food here. I've been known to drive across the city in order to have a cooked breakfast at Ludovic's.

Food was reasonable. Had a small Scottish breakfast. Nothing too outlandish. The cutlery was unclean. Had dried food on the fork and knife. Lip gloss stains on rim of glass. Brown sauce and ketchup bottles look like they hadn't been wiped down in a week. Table had crumbs as if it was never cleaned off. Service was rude and not pleasant. We felt like more of an inconvenience. A paying customer should not have to experience such a lack of professionalism no matter what your job is. Will not be going back to this cafe ever.
