Extremely wonderful experience in this delightful Indian restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly, polite and incredibley attentive.Upon being seated in a nice booth, after ordering drinks the waiter came out with a complimentary plate of beautifully marinated chicken wings. The food we ordered came shortly after, a lamb bhuna and a lamb korma. We ordered these with a serving of naan bread each, and received plentiful amounts of naan. The portion sizes were perfect, and the flavour extremely satisfying. The lamb was so tender that it was falling apart at the brief touch of a spoon, and impregnated with the flavour of the curry extremely well. Also, considering we both had lamb dishes (which would usually cost a fortune anywhere else in Glasgow) the prices were extremely reasonable. A couple could dine here and only spend just over £20, while receiving a perfectly satisfying amount of food. You can tell that the owners and the staff at Charcoals really care about their customers. I was impressed with the amount of charity work also supported by the restaurant. To dine & spend your money here is almost the same as giving it to a good cause. The people running this place deserve all of the custom they get, and I would definitely eat here again.

Was too much curious about the name and menu but disappointed with the taste of curries veg and chicken had same taste. Also at the time of bill payment told to pay by cash only which was not informed in advance which is very annoying as took 15 min to go and get the cash while family was waiting there.

First time ever being in here and the food was amazing. Not only were we greeted with such a friendly environment, the food was exceptional and very affordable! I would 110% recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for food! The owner should be very proud of their establishment!

Worst experience ever I had in my GLASGOW restaurant experience 😪. They dont have basic card machines for payment. For any sake don't visit this restaurant and I have found a hair on briyani and I had a doubt whether I had ordered chicken briyani or nasty hair briyani.

Good service, nice food, asked for an extra bit of spice in the curry and it was great- very tasty. Only thing was they added a “service charge” onto the bill which is very sneaky as people usually tip anyway. It was only three people. Not something I think people in Scotland especially Glasgow like seeing in restaurants.

This restaurant are claiming all the bad reviews are fake but in reality they just cannot take the humiliation.Tip to owner: You should apologies for the bad service to those who complained and promise that you will be better in future, you cannot just claim it is a fake review just because it's bad.

I have tried almost all Indian food in Glasgow but the only one made me feel like my mother food is this restaurant. Whatever I ate on my first day its made me 100% fully satisfied, I really appreciate the chef and the owner and all staff well-done and please carry on your good service. Thank you so much
