China Sea Restaurant in Glasgow City

Nice Pre Theatre menu for £12.80 2 courseI had the Salt an Pepper ribs, very nice, and the Beef Chow Mein also very nice.Very busy place but the excellent staff got us seated fairly quickly.

Serving size is good if you go for a 2 course meal, there are limited options though. Nothing surprisingly good or extraordinary about the restaurant, most dishes taste average and look average, which is okay for the price as the menu is not too expensive compared to other similar options in the city.Huge seating area so not a big problem getting a table without reservation, can't say about Friday evenings though. Staff were friendly and very respectful which is rare nowadays in big restaurants.Entrance to the restaurant is slightly off, a bit shady in the middle of nowhere and looks like you're entering a small residential building. When you do enter the main door and take the stairs up it'll lead you to the restaurant (you ll know when you see the staff at the door to the restaurant).Proper covid measures were taken with sanitizing our hands at the entrance and all the staff wearing masks, which is again a good thing to see at most continental food restaurants in the city.

Missed this place Not been for a wee while. Used to go on & off for years as a teen. Still come back to it. Great Memories. Not changed at all. Staff still the same which is lovely to see. Some even funny 😆😆😆

After closing the Noodle Bar, this has become my favourite take away in Glasgow City Center. A stone throw away from Central Station, fast service and tasty curry and crispy chicken balls. Excellent option to grab something fast if starving

Authentic Chinese cuisine with great quality food is amazingly delicious. Food are all cooked into perfection on taste and ingredients mixture. I do enjoy their good wines, cocktails, beers selection for food pairing.

What a brilliant ''old school'' restaurant this is!Really cosy booth seating/amazing lunch and pre theatre deals and they don't skimp on quality of food or portion size.The staff are all amazing,friendly and always happy to see you.Absolutely love it!!👍😋🧡

Food and service were both pretty average, we paid a deposit for 10 and not all of the party made the booking so the 3x £5 deposit was lost even though 7 still went for diner, wont be back anytime soon!
