I had a fantastic experience at Crabshakk! The most anticipated meal of my trip to Glasgow and it exceeded my expectations. Super comfortable, relaxed and cheerful atmosphere and good music. Oysters and a bottle of Muscadet to start - fabulous. I wanted to try everything on the menu, but we stuck to gravadlax and langoustines (which were messy and lots of fun) to start, then monkfish cheek scampi and the Crabshakk fish sandwich for our mains - everything was delicious. We were served by Ava who was delightful, made me feel so at home and advised us on how exactly to eat the langos. Can't fault this place, and I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

The menu has plenty of choice for a few small dishes and mains, the specials of the day were amazing - there was lobster, langoustine, whole soul, halibut with Arbroath smokie mash and much more.

The menu has plenty of choice for a few small dishes and mains, the specials of the day were amazing - there was lobster, langoustine, whole soul, halibut with Arbroath smokie mash and much more. The hardest thing was deciding what to have! The crab cakes are beautiful, so delicate and full of flavour. They concentrate on high quality ingredients cooked simply but well. The scallops looked amazing, I didn’t get them this time but will do next time.

Food was absolutely amazing, lovely and fresh. The staff were very attentive and friendly. A little tight for space at the bar seats but then again we didn't reserve a table. Overall a great experience.

Not sure why my previous post isn't showing? Exceptional food... lovely interior... Nice wine selection... very grumpy (borderline rude) head waiter. Arrogant and ruined the experience for us. Would have been 5* otherwise

Truly exceptional meal, fantastic food and service, the scallops are probably the best we've ever had. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended.

I had the halibut and my husband had langoustine. Just delicious. Can't praise this place enough. Brilliant food and staff were so friendly and attentive. Had chocolate cake for dessert. More like a mousse with banana ice cream. Yum.

Excellent seafood restaurant, it’s a go to for seafood lovers. We had scallops in brown butter, cockles with samphire then halibut as a main course and few oysters as a “treat” (just because) Everything was cooked perfectly. I do recommend book a table as it is quite busy. By the time we were there I saw 2 deliveries of fish and sea food, so always fresh, good quality!

Hands down the best dining experience I've had.Portions are of great value for money and the kitchen do a fair bit of the prep work with the crab and langoustines so it's easy for a novice to walk in and have an excellent experience. Will definitely be going back.
