My Favourite friendly popular cafe on Kilmarnock Road Shawlands Glasgow

Nice cupccino and cheeky cake. Friendly staff.

Didn't get a chance to dine at all. No vegan options despite advertising as being vegan friendly and having a Veganuary sign in the window. So disappointed as we had deliberately gone there as we had visited the branch in Stranraer which was fantastic.

£8.40 for a chicken roll and a cappuccino!!! I said that’s a bit pricey and the girl said she doesn’t set the prices. Well fair enough, I don’t pay those prices.

Lovely barista behind counter explained menu well. Lovely tea! Will return!

My favourite spot in the southside to grab a latte, other dnisi locations also provide excellent tasting coffees. Staff are always kind and cakes are always amazing.

Was in here today and was very disappointed as I felt like some lunch but the fillings I was keen on were only served in a ciabatta and I really wanted a sandwich. Most other places will do this but they couldn't!!! I opted for a piece of mandarin cheesecake which I left some of as it had very little flavour and was not that soft....more hard....Sorry but not impressed.....

Just been to Cafe D'nisi in Shawlands got a table and forgot to put my mask on. Shouted at by the girl behind the counter. Explained I am deaf and with the cafe noise and her mask I couldn't hear her. Asked her to pull down her mask to let me lip read. She said no shouted that she wasn't allowed. All other cafe patrons by this time are watching the scene. I explained that she was allowed to pull down her mask to speak to me and she insisted it's not allowed. She then shouted twice asking what I wanted to order. I asked for a menu and sat with my mum. Also hard of hearing. We de died to leave as quite upset at the treatmen. She wasn't unpleasant just obviously not aware of the rules leaving us embarrassed.

Tasty food and friendly service. Everything was clean and well managed.

There's never a time that I haven't enjoyed D'nisi's. I used to stay in Shawlands and it was the pit stop at the end of most days, with breakfast at the weekends. Definitely recommend.
