Dominics Fish And Pizza Bar in Glasgow City

Good chippy with good portion sizes.

The food is 5 star for starters. My problem is one night they will deliver to me in Cardonald, more often than not though, they won't. 12 minutes away and refusing delivery seems utterly ridiculous to me. Really disappointed in that side of the service and for me at least, it's letting the side down massively.

Lovely fish. Been there a few times when visiting family and never had a problem with it

Edit since last review.By god things have improved and thank you for taking note of my request for well cooked chips, ordered through JustEat with note asking for my chips to be well done, you delivered perfect chips in sausage & fish suppers and every bit was eaten, its empty bags going in the bin :), so happy that I can again leave you guys a 5 star review, you not only nailed it. It was screwed down :) I havent enjoyed a chippy like this for years. NOT fit to eat, chips warm but half cooked at best, fish tortured to death until you cant find it in the batter, sausage may have been warm one day, just not today, cold in the middle. see my original review, things have gotten worse. 1 star as i cant give none. from one of the best chippies despite the chips to the absolute worst. avoid at all costs

We had the best Haddock and fritters ever delivered, I only eat Haddock and u can't always get it this food was just perfect. Thanx Dominic keep up your good work 👍

Stood for 10 minites in the shop on my own no other customer's and watched as the staff concentrated on just eat orders i got feed up being ignored and left the shop. Absolute shocking service, please fix this because the food is still the best in renfrew

Unless you have phoned a delivery you get ignored by staff. Stood for 45 minutes in a queue waiting on an order that i phoned in and was given a time to collect, all one queue whether u phoned in or are ordering there n then. Got to front of queue waited a further 5 mins before anyone acknowledged me, to then watch them pull my order out of a hot cupboard (that had been in there longer than i hd been there) 50 minutes hd been n there at least when i questioned their process for pick ups was told that no one else has complained so never bothered with order..... Which was only for 2 bloody bags of chips. Could have went n picked the totties from the field n made them maself quicker

King rib supper from Dominics was OK but batter too thick, king rib was fresh but shrunken quite a lot in the batter, and batter was much too thick. Chips were nice.

Visited this chip shop today. We got great service from Isabel. She made a wee single fish for our uncle, who is quite poorly. He thoroughly enjoyed it. It was freshly made and tasted great.Isabel really made his day by chatting to him too.A five star review for both food and service.
