Ginesi's Ice-Cream in Glasgow City

I’ve been coming here for many years and still absolutely DISGUSTED with the staffs attitude ESPECIALLY THE LADY WHO OWNS THE SHOP. Ice cream is nice and sweet but sadly their attitudes very bitter. They clearly don’t know how to smile or have a civilised conversation with customers. Regret giving them business every time but continue to for my kids. The old lady should retire and hire new staff if she is that unhappy to work with the public. Such a shame as the ice cream is decent- hard deny that.Had to do this review-as today was another rude encounter. My review might not change anything with their business but my experience is finally out there.

Vegan Ice cream lovely and better than supermarket bought im annoyed that I am paying its £1 dearer that non vegan for £6.50 tub im paying £7.50. Staff explained cost more make !!! Not happy

THEE best ice cream in Glasgow. The only place left that sells the real deal 🍦 - traditional Italian ice cream. The staff are always chatty and friendly which is so refreshing!We continue to come here regardless of where we’ve moved to around Glasgow. Worth a visit 110%.

Best ice cream I have ever tasted including in Italy! Lots of vegan selections too. Amazing flavours but their vanilla is my go to as it's out of this world, topped with a wee drop of raspberry sauce.. delicious

Awesome gelato and the price is great too. Different flavors everytime I go there. Love it! Just make sure to keep cash on you. No cards accepted but who cares when the gelato is that good?

This is certainly one of the best places that I have ever had a gelato from! The owner lady was so kind and polite. She struck a very meaningful conversation with us amidst her busy day. Her genuine nature struck me and meant so much to me amidst these tough times. Coming to the ice cream, it truly was heavenly that we actually went back for more after our first mouthful. The pricing is also cheap. I would certainly recommend everyone to try this place and can’t wait to go back when I am in Glasgow.

Great ice cream. I dont understand why people are complaining about the prices. You can see the prices and the cup sizes before you are served.I'd like to make a suggestion that it would be great if you use tissues/napkins to pick and hold the cones as you serve instead of touching with bare hands (not only during covid). It's safer if the hands touching coins&banknotes, everything else on the counter don't hold the cones we eat 😉Thanks

Was first introduced to this place by a friend who insisted that they did best ice cream in Glasgow. It was no exaggeration. They offer a wide range, including some vegan options. In addition to the usual cones, they sell tubs in different sizes for those who want to take their's home. They also do half-and-half, which is really helpful as it's often hard to pick just one. I've been many times since that first visit and never been disappointed.
