Stepsons 21st at Ho Wong and could not fault decor, service or food it was simply the best!Piping hot food served at table was delicious.Ok it’s a bit more expensive than others but nothing out of the way. Booked again before we left!!Also brought out wee cake to embarrass 😂

Top notch, excellent fresh produce. Not cheap so going here is a treat but its worth itEdit: Returned back today for a second time for lunch, asked if we could have a table for 2 and they were very snotty. No way to book online and no phone number online either so you must need to book using telepathy or smoke signals. There is one particular lady who needs a few lessons on how to treat customers. Very disappointing and wont be back (and your fried rice was average)

Manager was looking down his nose at us, the table we had was very uncomfortable, basically sat looking at everyone in the restaurant eating, seat was really upright and very uncomfortable too. The food was ok nothing special, bill came to £85 which seemed excessive for what we had, old Ho Wong was lovely and good value, new Ho Wong is massively over priced.

Fab food and service. Everything was perfect. One star off as it was pricey but I would go back. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I could not fault the service at all!

Doesn’t look like much from the outside however once inside the decor is quite beautiful all five of us enjoyed our food it was very tasty. They even had a decent wine list especially for an Asian restaurant in Scotland

First visit to new premises and it did not disappoint. Excellent service. Lunch menu not cheap compared other restaurants but well worth the money. Food quality and portion size excellent. We had not booked a table but they managed to fit us in even though they were fully booked. No hesitation in recommending.

An amazing and unforgettable dining experience! From the authentic Chinese cuisine to the attentive and lovely staff, my friends and I had an exceptional evening at Ho Wong. The range of choices on the menu was terrific, so we decided to order a few different dishes to share. Each was as lovely as the next, and I'll definitely be back to try the dishes we didn't order! The staff were extremely friendly and were more than happy to answer any queries we had.Inside, the decor is simply stunning. Its fresh and modern look make this truly feel like a high-end dining experience.Without doubt, Glasgow's top Chinese restaurant and easy to see why it's an institution within the city. Thanks again to the incredible team for such a memorable experience.I cannot recommend Ho Wong highly enough. Five stars!

We booked dinner for my friends 40th birthday celebration. Our table was booked for 5.30pm, we arrived at 5.33pm. The staff were incredibly rude and we felt unwelcome. They commented on us being late and consistently told us they needed the table back at 7.15pm. It was very uncomfortable. The food was faultless but no sooner had we put our forks down the staff were clearing our table. We asked one of the staff if they could order our taxi for 7.15pm and they said they would. When we got outside no taxi was there so my girlfriend had to go back in to arrange. I also told the waiting staff it was my girlfriends 40th birthday, it would have been a good opportunity for them to do something nice but they didn't. Rude staff, rushed service! Such a shame as the decor and food is lovely but won't be back purely because of the customer service. Interestingly the taxi driver also said he experienced similar and thought the staff were incredibly rude also. We spent £250 and we were feeling completely deflated when we left...

Just been to the new Ho Wong for lunch. Excellent food, the very best quality, however this is reflected in the cost. Not the cheapest lunch in town but probably the best I have tasted for a long time.
